We stayed in the home of Mrs. Candy Singh and her husband, an officer in the Indian Army. This home is located about 30 minutes from Jaipur. The home is large and the upstairs consists of a large elegant bedroom with sitting area and private bath, a smaller bedroom and bath, sitting area and outside deck area which are available...

Mrs Candy Singh was the perfect host, very welcoming and friendly throughout our two night stay. Our room was spotlessly clean, large and overlooked the pretty gardens. Large poster bed in the bedroom, bathroom had a shower and a bath. Cleanest bathroom in the whole of India and the quietest place in India! We thoroughly enjoyed our cooking lesson with...

My boyfriend and I stayed at Sri Niwas in November 2008 during a 2 week trip to India. After the hustle and bustle of both Delhi and Agra, Sri Niwas was a haven in Jaipur! When we arrived we were greeted by the lovely Candy and her daughter and were made to feel right at home straight away! Our bags...

I just completed a 15-day vacation trip to india. My trip was arranged through Indian Moments in Jaipur. I stayed at Indian Guest Houses. One in particular was spectacular. It was SriNiwas Country Home in Jaipur. The owner, Mrs. Cany Singh was wonderful and provided me with a great treat in sharing her home. I was somewhat under the weather...

We had the opportunity to spend 2 nights at this lovely home in Jaipur. Candy was very gracious and we had tea on the terrace after a long drive and lots of touring. I don't remember the charge for the tea. Since the home is in the country on a dirt road we enjoyed the relaxation of its setting. We...

Really great homestay. Excellent rooms, great bathroom, hot water and fluffy towels. Candy was a great hostess. We were made very welcome and we very lucky to be invited to share Dhiwali with the family. Food was great and served in the garden. A litte out of Jaipur but certainly would recommend staying here, away from the humdrum of the...

What can we say? we absolutely loved our stay here with Candy! From first point of contact with Candy she was our saviour in all things from not only organising reservations but also providing useful information with transport and various points of interest thru out Rajastan. I emailed her many times prior to actually staying and she very gratiously happily...

I recently had the opportunity to enjoy 2 nites at the Sri Niwas Country Home in Jaipur, India. This is essentially a bed & breakfast run by Candy Singh. After spending many days in Dehli & Agra touring and driving, we (my husband & I) were ready for some down time. Our plans had changed to the point that we...

Had we known what a great place Sri Niwas is, we would have extended our stay in Jaipur. Candy Singh is the ultimate hostess and a terrific cook. The rooms were very clean, large, and airy. While Sri Niwas is about 30 to 45 minutes from the city, this is a positive rather than a negative. The quiet and open...

We can't praise this stay enough. Candy and Karam were the most delightful hosts. Their home is excellent; you really feel like you are staying with a family not in a hotel or B&B. The room was very large and very well furnished, the bathroom was huge and marble! - very clean. We took the cookery course one on the...
