We had already been in Darjeeling for 3 nights but the Airbnb we were staying in couldn't accommodate us for the 5 nights we'd planned to stay. We couldn't find any contact details for Andy's but we'd had a recommendation so decided to just turn up and ask. We were met by Mr Gurung. Who seemed annoyed by us wanting...

The owner Mr gurung is very friendly and old. The guesthouse is right on the top of the darjeeling Hill. From the rooftop you have the Best view imaginable. The rooms are perfectly clean and everything seems freshly renovated. Book in advance because it seems to be full all the time.

So andy's guesthouse in Darjeeling is for sure one of the best places I have stayed in India. The environment is amazing, the rooms are clean and the bathroom on the second floor has the best view! Metilda was very nice and she helped us with everything we needed. Another pro is the location- close to everything but still quite...

After a gruelling 2 day journey to reach Darjeeling from Varanasi, I arrived at the guesthouse with a migraine. Mrs Gurung understood immediately and showed me my bed without delay. After several hours, I still felt awful and needed help. She got me some water and brewed me some Darjeeling tea with some plain biscuits. It was a lifesaver. By...

Stayed here for four nights. Exceptionally quiet guest house, with doors locked and lights out by 9pm in the common area. Wifi available 9am - 9pm. Owners are nice, and secure luggage after checkout, if required. Hot water available once a day. Immaculately clean rooms, and good supply of electricity. No restaurant on-site, with plenty of restaurants in easy walking...

We stayed at Andy's for just under a week, in a twin room. It was very clean, the bathroom was adequate (shower and hot water - although the hot water was limited), and a western toilet. It was very quiet at night, as very few cars came down our road. And we were close to Gatty's Cafe, which is a...

We stayed at Andys guest house and had a great time. The facilities were clean and the location to Darjeeling town fantastic. For the price it is an excellent option. The owners are very friendly and obliging. My only issues were around the Internet and hot water. I would have preferred that we were given the option to buy these...

This is not the best hotel in town. It is, however, by far the best budget / backpackers' hotel in town. Rooms are *spotlessly* clean, with hot water readily available for most of the day. A small library and garden on the second floor is nice to relax in, as is the rooftop view over town. Best of all, kindly...

Great , clean rooms. Got a very warm welcome from the host. Has good wifi and a good collection of books in common lounge. The host has a very charming collection of plants. Great energy - must go to the terrace for a nice panoramic view of Darjeeling. Great great value for money!

I had heard good things about this place but was very disappointed. The owner himself booked me in but was not interested, and rude. Nothing at all is provided here- no towel, no soap, no toilet paper, and definitely no drinking water, cold or hot. However, the room was clean and the beds comfy. There was a nice rooftop view...
