A great friendly hotel.had amazing views from my room and the rooftop. As it was cold they gave me hit water bottle and lots of warm blankets felt at home here. In a good location not far to walk to chowrasta squad where there are nice cafes and restaurants.

Clean room with large windows, hot water, good wifi connection, away from the crowd and jeeps but within easy reach of all places of interest in Darjeeling. But most of all friendly manager who gives very accurate and valuable advice.

Really enjoyed our stay here whilst we were in Darjeeling. The hotel itself is very lively with lots of travellers around. The rooms are clean and quaint, and for once we had hot water which was amazing! Although the downsides, the wifi is turned off by about 9.30pm at night and is only available in the lobby! Because it's so...

I'd stayed in Darjeeling somewhere before hearing good things about this place so I swapped, kind of wish I hadn't. There's a nice common area to sit and read or meet people but other than that I had hoped for a better experience! Wi-Fi is turned off at 9, not that I travel searching for hotspots but if you ever...

Clean hotel with triple and double rooms, for only about 300 rupees pp when sharing a room. Friendly/helpful staff. Some great views from the roof terrace. Only problem would be the 10.30 curfew, especially on weekends. Not a big problem though.

After being rejected by countless other hotels due to them being full, stumbled across this little bad boy, although it was recommended by other travellers. It was an arduous walk up a steep hill with backpacks, but that allowed for spectacular views off the rooftop (weather permitting) The staff spoke fluent English and were really helpful and friendly. They only...

This is the best budget hotel I've stayed in India. Very clean, bright room, hot water when you need it, extremely friendly staff. Wifi available only in the pleasant lounge room from 9 am to 9 pm. Beautiful views from the top terrace if the weather allows it. You can also borrow books from the library. I had a very...

Good place, clean rooms but freezing! Although this seems to be the case everywhere in Darjeeling (no where seems to have heating, heaters or a fire) resulting in the room feeling damp. Hot water via gazers didn't seem to last more than 3 minutes so use sparingly. The staff couldn't have been nicer though, our friend was very ill during...

Booked a room last minute for Rs700/night. Located next to the tv tower, it has a nice view towards the West. The rooms are very clean, lots of blankets, clean bathroom, and good curtains. They have wifi in the common room between 9am-9pm only. No restaurant but you can use their hot water to make drinks. The staff is very...

After travelling around India for 5 weeks we decided to go to Darjeeling for a bit of 'down time'. Finding hotel Tranquility made our stay very comfortable. Mid February was absolutely freezing but having a clean, cosy room with a hot water shower made it bearable. The staff were all so friendly and really made us feel at home. They...
