A backpackers hotel in a fantastic travelling location in sudder street, Kolkata...But do not keep further expectation other than just a bed and basics. Free Wi fi works good, No Mobile network in some rooms, no privacy. But reiterating the statement, "Fantastic Location, nothing more"...

The worst part is they didn't allow us to check-in after the confirmed booking through makemytrip. They need the same address proof on both the ids of the couple. Can anyone tell me that how it is possible for a newly married couple that they have the same address on both the ids. Always check them twice before check-in. otherwise...

Well I Stayed There Almost 6 times. owner of the hotel is simply amazing. very good person. wifi internet was available. but if anyone is going there after 12 pm the roomboy always misbehave sometime refused to open the door too. once i arrived around 1 PM from the airport they said they don't have any room. but very next...

I stayed in this hotel as I could not find a berth in other nearby hotels in my budget..As expected not a place to enjoy. Somehow stayed for 2 nights... Rooms are very small...A.C was ok type...Poor reception..

Why does cleartrip show these hotels. Rooms are no way close to pics displayed. Dirty towels, Dirty corridor, bad reception. Can you imagine guy asking to write in the register nearest police station near your home address. Wierd I thought. And above all all your gadgets are useless as absolutly no network watsoever network provider you use.so please dont go...

Hotel Diplomat surely did dissapoint me with its small congested rooms, poor old airconditionng systems and rooms where you wont get any mobile network coverage . You have to come downstairs to the lobby to make or receive calls. I understand its a budget hotel but still expected better service from it. Noticed even the staffs & people sitted in...

Whatever facilities being promised nothing was existing customers r forced to compromise because of advance payment.not recommend to anyone who wants to have a comfortable stay staff doesn't own the responsibility towards customers

Terrible is one single word to explain the place. We had some work in New market area and landed up in this place near by. Stayed for just one day and moved out as its just terrible. narrow corridors and small rooms low roofs - all disadvantages. avoid

During our Kolkata trip We were staying near Sealdah and due to unavoidable circumstances happened to book this hotel for the last leap of our travel with out exploring much as we booked last minute here. No ventilation. narrow corridors. low roof. small room. there is no drinking water also. people are seen smoking in the rooms with doors open....

Diplomat the name dose'nt justify , as all that glitters are not gold . Its like a den of an animal , no oxygen . We took a AC room and perhaps the best room the hotel offered but really its not worth it . It will give you a feeling of staying in a jail . The only positive...
