I have two different experiences at the same place, first arrived late Saturday and was given a room on a shady corridor, with a bad odor. Next day was moved to a nicer updated room. So I guess a lot depends on what room you get. Breakfast is basic, it has "hot" items but is "eggs" and sausage from a...

This seems to be an older facility, but is priced accordingly. The staff was very friendly and helpful. The location is excellent to walk to the bars and restaurants on and around Dauphin Street. Several museums are also within walking distance. We encountered no safety concerns. Parking is included. So if you do not mind the wear that shows in...

We were helped by Liz B. to establish a group of rooms the night before our cruise departure. She was so easy to work with. So were the Desk associates! I appreciated the ease in which everything happened. They have a package where you can stay the night and get a shuttle to and from the port if you are...

We were pleasantly surprised with this motel in downtown Mobile. We only stayed for one night because we were seeing a concert at the Sanger Theater downtown. We liked the free parking and free breakfast. It is pet friendly which is also a bonus. They have replaced the carpet with a laminate flooring which made it cleaner. The room was...

First off I had included in my booking that we would be a late check in. When we arrived just after 11 the lights were out and doors locked. After we knocked my husband was told our room was cancelled because our card was ran and declined at 4 pm per management policy (not stated anywhere). She had one last...

From the word Historic you know this hotel has been around. I love the hard wood floor but needed cleaning. When I took my shoes off the floors were gritty. Nice breakfast. It was down town so we were able to walk to near by restaurants and museums. We went on Carnival Cruise in Mobile and they had a shuttle...

Good deal for the money. Friendly staff, comfortable beds, free breakfast. Parking is a little tight. Leave your car and don't move it. Walk to everything or you may come back to no parking. Great location because everything is within walking distance.

We were really happy with the location of the hotel - very close to the historic district and, in particular, Dauphin Street, which has lots of bars and restaurants. It is also an interesting old hotel with balconies - only two levels with no elevators. The staff were very friendly and accommodating. Our room was not ready, so they upgraded...

We drove all day from Florida to stop in Mobile, Alabama's Quality Inn. We thought it would be a nice place to stay; the property was well kept and neat. We were checked in by a nice young lady and given a room at the end of the hotel, in the 120s, since we had a dog. The room was...

We were placed in room 101. At 7:30, we heard loud talking, laughing and smoking in front of our room. I thought; it must be some inconsiderate guests who decided to hang out in front of my room; they'll go away soon. Well, no. The hotel seems to have a VERY large number of cleaning staff. And they like to...
