Our 4 bedroom, 3 1/2 bath condo was magnificent. The balconies were incredible. Parking was easy. The beach across and east was lovely. Very quiet and clean. Spent most of our time away from the condo, so did not use any of their facilities. The only thing missing was a

We love this resort. Spacious, clean and luxurious. The staff of Meyer’s Rentals (the parent company) is always courteous and accommodating. Caribe also has its’ own Marina, if you love water sports. The Cobalt Restaurant which is nice, is located next door to the resort. This

Living Room with an Amazing view!
I would call the Caribe number on their website and rent directly from them. They own a number of the units and can help. I would caution you however that it's quite a walk to the beach. You can drive there or take the shuttle, but even then it's a hike down a long Boardwalk.

You should be Ok. My experience is that kids love the water no matter what the temperature. It's the adults that have a problem! You have the choice of the inside pools. Have a great time.

We were in building D, PH level and saw partial sunset. If you were in Building B high up you would see a reasonable sunset, however you really have to be in a condo directly on the beach to see the beautiful sunsets to their full extent. Building B have what we consider to be the quieter pool, not sure if it has an open slide. You can walk to the beach but it is quite a hike - there are always the golf carts that you can use which run every 15 mins in the summer. You have to call them in the winter time. There is a long board walk across the dunes to the beach, and you can drive down from the Caribe and park in the parking lot which also has wash rooms. Hope this has helped you.

We are booked to stay in c101. Is that a ground floor room?
It is on the ground floor and you will be looking out over green space NOT the swimming pools. The parking garage will be directly under you which is ok if its not too busy. We stayed in DPH1 last winter and it was very noisy with kids screaming in the pool. So if you are looking for a quieter area you are in the right place, Read my report posted on TA. Have a great time!

There is an actual Beach. And there is transport across the street basically to the beach side that is a public area. If you want to take your vehicle so you can haul your gear there is a nice parking area that leads to the “boardwalks” that go over the small dunes to the beach. Depending on where you want to be on the water will depend on how far your walk is. This part of Orange Beach, is one of the prettiest areas of water on the island. If the weather has been good (no storms) it is the bluest of blue or clearest green anywhere. But if the weather hasn’t been great it is just like everywhere else. When you cross over the pass bridge it is gorgeous and you want to stop and take a picture. Right under the bridge area is the beach access for the Caribe. If you have a waverunner it is sooo much fun with adult supervision of course. I hope this answered your question. I’ve read other post about the difficulty of the beach. And yes it is not right outside. And if that is what you want then Caribe is not your place. But if you have children they will love the pools. My kids have always loved the Caribe. And we are pool people. Bring an ice chest down with you. And now, I believe they have poolside beverage service. So that takes care of another complaint I read.

"We stayed in condo D212. GREAT condo! Very big 3 bedroom each bedroom with own shower."
"Stay on upper rooms away from the rats and on the back side for a bay view. This place is not on the beach."
"Bay view is going to be nice and you'll see sunsets. Gulf view - bring your binoculars."
"Definitely get a bay side room, avoid end units that face east and west if you enjoy spending mornings and evenings on the balcony"
"Bay side view should be quieter and has the sunset view Buildings B or D are further from the mayhem."
