The Park Hyatt Shanghai was very nice and relaxing. After spending a day of travel, the rooms had a perfect zen quality to them. I thoroughly enjoyed the rainfall style shower. The fitness area is small however there were also weight machines and some free weights. If I ever return, I will pack a bathing suit to enjoy the pool.... More

This hotel was flawless in every way. It stands out even among Park Hyatt hotels around the world. The materials and attention to detail throughout the hotel are incredible. When you add the jetliner views of colorful buildings and neighboring mega-skyscrapers, there is no comparison. The concierge provided luxurious transportation and three exceptional dinner bookings. The bars and restaurants within... More

Staycation for two nights to enjoy the swimming pool. Great rooms, okay service. Make sure you check the weather report before you book. As the hotel is so high up (F80 something) you might end up looking at a white wall of clouds that cost you 500$ a night. Awesome pool and not too crowded. Will stay there again (on... More

This hotel have an amazing pool. The room has maganificant view (see pic). Truly a must have experience in Shanghai. It is like an escape of crowds in the city. The downside of this hotel is their stupid room level. The lobby is at 87 floor but most room are below. As a result even you need go to other... More

The best city hotel in the world. Rooms, decor, service and attention to detail is what sets this hotel above all else (in height and stature). Although the location in Pudong isn't always convenient for me, it still worth it to stay here. I once stayed at the Peninsula Shanghai (to be close to my meetings) and the service there... More

We had drinks at the bar on the same floor as the hotel reception. This hotel is sublime, and this spot is perfect for sundowners, you can sink back into the comfy lounges and sip a glass of decent wine while watching the sunset. We did this rather than go a few floors up and pay a fee for the... More

Great room, (the best idea splitting into separate rooms the shower from the toilet), the view is spectacular, and they pay attention to every single detail. We informed the management that it was our XX wedding anniversary and they prepared a surprise for us. We really enjoyed our stay. Many Thanks!!

The good: a so-hip-it-hurts property in a convenient and beautiful Pudong location. Views that will literally take your breath away. Spacious, well-designed rooms. A rainwater shower in a walk-in bath that is so relaxing and soothing, you'll want to stay under it all day. An hilariously self-lifting toilet seat that made me feel like Harry Potter every time I approached.... More

The Park Hyatt is possibly the best hotel I have stayed in. Beautifully designed, the entry foyer is maze like leading you to lifts, that take you to the 87th floor reception. Hotel rooms start from the 80th floor up. A magnificent panoramic view is available from all sides. The modern internal design is the key to this hotel, clever... More

Staying in Lujiazui

Neighbourhood Profile
When people speak of Shanghai’s futuristic skyline, it’s the financial district of Luiazui they are speaking of. Shanghai’s most iconic buildings are located in close proximity to Lujiazui’s elevated ring road and swanky eateries. Sky-high shopping and chic bars fill the highrises around the area. As is characteristic of a world-class financial business district, some of Shanghai’s best malls and hotels can be found in the neighborhood. While everyone on the famous Bund side of the river gazes in awe at these amazing structures, all the buildings here, as well as Lujiazui’s riverside promenade, offer great views of the historic buildings all along the Puxi side. The Lujiazui park often hosts music festivals throughout the year, and park goers can party and stroll in the shadow of some of the world’s tallest buildings.
