The location of this hotel is great, right in the middle of the financial area and close to the bund. Walking distance from metro. Ideal for work as people can reach you easily. My flight was delayed 3 hrs and when I came to the hotel one staff member rushed out to greet me and took me straight to the...

I stay here whenever in Shanghai as our offices are close by. It's a very nice hotel with an excellent service staffs. Usually hotel very busy breakfast buffet. I don't tend to eat here in the evenings as you can get better and cheaper close by. It has absolutely everything you need for a business trip and always friendly and...

Very good overall stay. Rooms and lobby are nice however food and beverage was underwhelming. Staff were lovely and eager to please. I'd stay again. Location to the convention center was perfect, a less than 10 minute enjoyable stroll.

Paid for executive nights but wasn't able to enjoy executive benefits. The amenities in the room were provided as per standard room, reception registered me as an upgraded executive instead of paid executive which resulted issues when having breakfast at executive lounge and asking for fruit plate. Parcel delivery service dropped Tried collecting my parcels but was asked to wait...

This is a great hotel with amazing rooms however breakfast is a mess. The area is too small and there doesn't seem to be enough space for all the people or enough people to serve everyone. For this reason I probably wouldn't go back which is a shame because everything else is wonderful

I had a wonderful stay at the Kempinski in Shanghai. Everyone was welcoming and the room was very comfortable. Specifically, staff members on the executive floor were fantastic. They ensured that I felt at home during my week in China.

The Grand Kempinski Shanghai is a very good hotel in a great location in a city filled with great hotels in great locations, and that's the only thing wrong with it. It's a perfectly good hotel for business travellers with almost nothing wrong with it, but given how advanced some of the other hotels in Shanghai are, this one feels...

Dear Guest, I appreciate your honest feedback on your recent stay at the Grand Kempinski, which in general was excellent, as I feel service is the highest attribute in a five star hotel to fulfill and I noted your comment on the brighter rooms, which you missed. Not knowing in which room you stayed, we have sun flooded rooms, and...

Staying in Lujiazui

Neighbourhood Profile
Lujiazui
When people speak of Shanghai’s futuristic skyline, it’s the financial district of Luiazui they are speaking of. Shanghai’s most iconic buildings are located in close proximity to Lujiazui’s elevated ring road and swanky eateries. Sky-high shopping and chic bars fill the highrises around the area. As is characteristic of a world-class financial business district, some of Shanghai’s best malls and hotels can be found in the neighborhood. While everyone on the famous Bund side of the river gazes in awe at these amazing structures, all the buildings here, as well as Lujiazui’s riverside promenade, offer great views of the historic buildings all along the Puxi side. The Lujiazui park often hosts music festivals throughout the year, and park goers can party and stroll in the shadow of some of the world’s tallest buildings.
