Hands down the most amazing hotel Ive stayed at second after Ritz Carlton Shanghai. This one is underrated and in my views really know what service is about. You get your personal butler who analyze your health at the start of your stay then you have personal tea delivery, eye masks everything that makes your stay welcoming. I have extreme sleeping difficulties and found the bed, pillows and overall room extremely comfortable. The room is huge and selection of food is great. The personnel working there always make sure that you are treated well and attended to- You will notice that even after you turn your backs away after your inquiry, they wave to you making you feel at home. It was a great stay with all the nice facilities. Love to come back again.

My stay at The Anandi was wonderful from start to finish. Every staff member I encountered was polite and helpful. Great rooftop swimming pool, small but very clean and quiet. Lots of thoughtful little details, like snacks on arrival, oil to help me sleep, eye masks, personalized tea, singing bowl welcome. It really was a step above many of the hotels I’ve stayed at in Shanghai. Breakfast was good, with a wide variety of choices. They focus on health and well-being and it’s definitely somewhere to go and relax, very peaceful. Will definitely be back.

One of the attractive deal of the hotel is their lunch buffet. Went back a few times with friends and everyone was impressed with the excellent selection of food, from Japanese to Indian, Chinese, Western food, were all done very well. Excellent service too! The staff were all attentive and very prompt. The manager Mohit was very accommodating and so good at paying attention to details. The hotel amenities and wellness services are also highly recommended!

A family staycation which was truly enjoyable! Sherry from room reservation made all the necessary arrangements: from room to workshops. She is truly amazing! We felt the hospitality provided throughout the stay was warm and caring. Anandi serves to please, a beautiful hotel with style!

This was the first time that we’ve chosen our stay in Anandi, the hotel is a member of THE LEADING HOTELS OF THE WORLD. First of all, we looooved all details of the hotel and we really enjoyed our stay here. It’s been a while but i still remember that our butler Suki speaked English so well and was really sweet, she arranged a perfect plan for us to experience the special workshops, we definitely felt relaxed and healed mentally and physically. The hotel is certainly worth a visit, thumbs up for its good butler service and healing products👍🏼.

I just checked out from Shanghai Anandi Spa hotel for a three-day two-night staycation as a family of four. I’d like to say a special thank you to Paul Zhou, one of the hotel managers. He was so kind and understanding, and attentive to details. He remembered our requests and helped us with all he can to make our stay as pleasant and perfect as possible. Thank you Paul. Anandi is lucky to have you!

As titled, the hotel has great potential with its positioning and product, but the delivery (with majority of issues being the staff) is poorly executed. Spent a day and an evening within the hotel for my anniversary, and have had to deal with a number of issues with the staff including: - nobody taking orders at the restaurant during service. The servers were chatting and laughing in the other room. - the dish we ordered was to be shared. We asked the server for plates. He responded “OK” and he went into the other room to continue chatting. When asked after 3 mins or so, he responded “we do not have dishes here” (wth, we are in a restaurant!?) - the experience is repeated during breakfast buffet while the staff walk around without much attention to what is going on and it took a lot of effort just to get a cup of coffee and the Ayurvedic juice that’s suppose to be part of your meal. -when asked to charge on my room, the staff “wasn’t sure I can do that” and had to run off asking for permission (again, wth?) There was nothing wrong with my bedroom and the spa was pleasant. However when most of the staff walks around clueless looking like they are out of place or don’t know what to do really takes away from the experience. With the added stress of staying here, maybe that’s why you would need that spa treatment and massage. I’ve lived in SH for almost 10 years, and I would honestly give this hotel a couple more years to get their staff caught up on 5 star etiquette before staying here. I hope hotel management steps it up and starts paying attention to the details. Will not be giving positive recommendations to my friends.

The hotel is gorgeous and fully facilitated. Staff are highly service awared!! Though, it was a bit rough for me to book online at the begining of my reservation, and then I tired to call the hotel, the operator picked up my phone but could barely get my word which gets me impatient! Fortunately,, my phone transferred to Kara :) I'm quite surprised with her fluent English. She's very self-initiative & considerable to recommend the family package due to the cost of my budget. During the whole conversation, she took every possibility to dig out my occasion of stay, reply me detailed confirmation and scheduled activities. After we got to the hotel, everything was well set and just expected as we want. Before the dinner time, there was a message from Kara to remind us to dine at western restuarant! That's a verrry sweett move. We would definitely come back and recommend this hotel to our Hispanic friends!
