This is a mid to small hotel aimed at mid level business travellers. For no reason should any person let alone a foreigner visit this place. The look is a cross between a brothel and a ganster's idea of classiness. I wouldnt be surprised if hookers were working some of the rooms. The rooms lack taste but are ok size...

The hotel's location would be ideal if one is attending an event at the nearby Exhibition Center. The hotel offers a shuttle bus/van for the 10-minute ride to the convention center. One can take a quick and cheap taxi ride back to the hotel taxis are aplenty outside the convention center. That being said, there is nothing else to speak...

A good option for business travelers, rooms at the Bodi are among the largest I have ever enjoyed on my travels. Communal areas are a little tired and drab but the rooms themselves are bursting with colour and nice touches. Shame the wifi is not quicker though. Food nothing special but certainly edible.

The hotel has very nice and big rooms which is very comfortable. Unfortunately its location is far from any metro station which is inconvenient. The reception service is let's say is from different word - many people doing nothing and having problem with almost every request of the guest :-) But they are polite and willing to help although they...

Hotel has high room standards, it offers butler service. Every night it was a woman waiting for me in the room. She prepared the bathroom make the bed ready and serves the meal and when I was ready to go bed she gently asked to leave . I was impressed. The prices are not expensive. Hotel restaurant is not large....

This hotel is only suitable for visitors going to the Shanghai New Expo Centre but I'm pretty sure you can stay anywhere else in Shanghai since the metro and taxis are so convenient. Hotel provide free shuttle to the expo. Stayed one night and it wasn't the best. Lights too dim in the room and the air-condition is not cold...

I got this place on a big discount, so for the price I am very happy. The room was very large, in fact it's probably one of the biggest hotel rooms I've stayed at. all the standard fittings, however, there was no safe (or perhaps I didn't find it....) The style of the room was on the strange side, it...

The Hotel very near the Shanghai New Expo, can be a boon for those attending the Expo.....however for the rest of the people, you may wish to weigh the cons.......!! Since Uber is available in Shanghai, do use the sign language as most of the drivers donot speak english. I was adventurous enough to land on a highway, instead of...

I stayed here a while ago and found the staff helpful. Rooms were spacious, clean and nice. Location at the front of the hotel was not good but if you exit via the back there's lots of good places around and even a Domino's pizza nearby. It works for a quick stopover. Not too far from the airport and getting...

Staying in Century Park

Neighbourhood Profile
Century Park
Shanghai residents see Pudong’s suburbs as the place that grown-ups retreat to when they’re ready to settle down and stop living in the cramped confines of a refurbished lanehouse. The areas around Century Park are some of the most desirable as they are in close proximity to the Metro Lines, granting easy access to the heart of Puxi. The park itself is a huge draw, it’s one of Shanghai’s biggest and there are sports fields tucked into one of its corners, but five-star hotels, museums and great malls make life in the Century Park area easy for the homesick foreigner. And if living in a Western bubble in China isn’t your thing, there is plenty of local flavor to be had in between the major development. Some of Lujiazui’s futurism can also be seen in buildings and sculptures throughout the neighborhood as well.

“Take the rooms at the rear end of the Hotel that face the Apartment Blocks. Since the Hotel is on the Main Road, be sure to hear Vehicles starting 7am! And yes, the Chinese love to hoot! Currently some repair work is going on on the 6th floor, so try & avoid this floor!”
