This hotel is a great choice if you have something to do nearby or in Changning. Good rooms, good breakfast and staff is helpful. There are always English speaking staff at the front desk. Taxi is easy to get at the front entrance. ATM inside. Even subway is relatively close.

Despite being very tired this place is happy. The fabric is very worn and currently undergoing a refurbishment but the staff are very friendly and the hotel does deliver service. The rooms and corridors are small and they all need a total make over. So perhaps this time next year the place will be 'over the rainbow' and gleaming again....

Stayed here for three nights - each night had a different, more expensive rate - some explanation was given that it was due to the booking site - so by the end it was RMB 860 plus taxes (15%) for a room.on Tuesday (it was RMB 480 plus taxes for Sunday) I think for this price you should at least...

... unless you want to get sick. Honestly, the carpet and the wall paper in the corridors are soooo worn out that you think you are in a cheap fleabag in some slum area. Inside the room, the carpet seemed cleaner and not as old, but outside it's UNACCEPTABLE!

This hotel needs a complete renewal. The rooms are clean, but they look as they are already worn out. The location is very good, from here you can easily reach a lot of places of interest. ( airport, train station... )

The hotel is neat, the facilities are superb and the rooms are quite large. The staff are very friendly, prompt...

The hotel was conveniently located, easy access to food, to offices, and tourist attraction. It is Japanese friendly, business hotel. The rooms are however old and outdated, somehow reminds me of the hotels of late 80s early 90s.

Neighbourhood Profile
Gubei / Hongqiao / Minhang
West of Shanghai’s better-known business, cultural and entertainment centers, lies an expansive area of residential neighborhoods peppered with lifestyle pockets that have their own unique attractions. The schools have formed pockets of international communities throughout Gubei, Hongqiao and Minhang. Quite a few entertainment and shopping centers have built up over the years to cater to these communities. While living here means you are relatively far away from Shanghai’s usual hot spots, the large parks, spacious homes and proximity to great Japanese and Korean food keep the neighborhoods popular.
