This is a great place to stay! It is very convenient to stay here if you arrive/depart from Hongqiao Airport, since it is only a short cab ride to get to/from the hostel. It is also only a 5 minute walk from the nearest underground station. The staff is great, friendly and speak excellent english. They can help out with...

My room and bathroom were spotlessly clean (the bathroom was very stylish with new white fittings and blue tiles). The staff were extremely helpful. They will book train tickets for a fee of RMB 30. There is...

We stayed in this hostel twice - in December 2007 and June 2008 - and had a very good experience both times. The common areas are clean, comfortable and have a homey feel. The ensuite double rooms are really nice - the bathroom seemed almost new. As with other hostels in China, there is free internet (wifi and computer), laundry...

I stay in the Shanghai Le Tour Hostel (address: 136 Bailan Road, Putuo District, Shanghai) from Dec. 20th until 23rd, 2006. A very good hostel, stylish, cute and cozy, I felt very comfortatble while staying. There is a bar, a tv-room, a gym-room and many living-rooms spaces, with sofas, chairs and tables, and a lot of magazines. They have clean...

“Ask for a room on the 2nd or 3rd floor away from the main stairs. As this is a hostel, it's common that some people arrive late from partying and the ground floor can be quite noisy.”

“There is no lift, if you have a lot of luggage ask for a 2nd floor room.”

“We were fortunate to be given a room on the first floor. With no lift or elevator we were glad not to drag our suitcases too far. With black out curtains the light outside was not a problem.”
