I was here two years ago as a first night for my honeymon, and it was excellent, I think we were the only guests but we enjoyed overall, room was very confy, views are to die for and food/service at the restaurant was great as well. Perhaps a little bit expensive but I guess it is worthy for a special...

Had a great learning and relaxing wellness experience at Asclepios Wellness & Healing Retreat Costa Rica. As a wellness tourism author, I often indulge into wellness activities to have experience and knowledge. What a beautiful wellness centre in Costa Rica, exceptional location, wonderful design, meticulous wellness knowledge and great therapies. Special thanks to team for making it delightful experience. Half day retreat with overnight stay. I arrived at 3pm and spent the night at Asclepios. If you are visiting Costa Rica and have a day or half day to spend and want to relax, Asclepios will be a great way to refresh and recharge. Many different spa treatments and massages are available.

I recently stayed at Asclepios for three nights. If you're looking for a lively nightlife or hotel with an active bar scene, this is not the place for you. There is not wifi onsite (with the exception of the lounge), nor are there T.V.s in the rooms...or coffee on site. The retreat is, however, quiet and peaceful and an incredible...

From San Jose you get there in about 40-45 minutes ( Uber available) or you can just ask the hotel to arrange a taxi or a car for you. The place is really beautiful and completely silent : at some point it seemed like I was the only one on the property. The sound of the water and the birds...

We had a lovely time during our stay at Asclepios Wellness & Healing Retreat. The location is convenient- it is close to the San Jose airport (approximately 20 minutes in our rental car). The property is beautiful; it overlooks a coffee and sugar cane plantation and the views are just wonderful. The staff was amazingly sweet and courteous. They had welcome...

I will start with the positive aspects about this place. The Spa and its services are totally recommended as you feel you are in heaven with the massage and at the Spa. The concept of the hotel, based on Greek mythology, makes of the place a unique one (at least in Costa Rica) in which the rooms are nicely kept...

We stayed here as a stopover on the way to drop family at the airport. As a wellness centre I'm sure its great. But as a hotel (I found it advertised on Hotels.com) its slightly lacking. We found that there were few staff (never did find anybody to carry the bags to our rooms) and that reception closed very early...

I admit that I did not take advantage of this property. We booked it as an overnight/layover spot on our way thru San Jose en route to the Nicoya Peninsula. This is not the kind of place that you stay for a brief stop-over, it's far too lush and relaxing with a great spa, pool and food. It deserves a...

Our stay at the Hotel was unique. Being on our Honeymoon we wanted to chill and enjoy Costa Rica . The Hotel we booked was great ,but I felt it was more so for a spiritual retreat. The front desk staff was great. The staff while.only consisting of maybe 3-4 people were pretty amazing. They took great care of and...
