My husband and I recently stayed here for 3 days. Our room was clean and spacious and opened up to excellent green views. The wet bar was our favorite. After each day of hiking and activities, we looked forward to relaxing in the hot pool.

This is a big hotel that divided our groups opinion. For me it was too large, over priced food and impersonal, grounds very pretty but over manicured, wild life free zone (although others saw fire flies) Our room was huge, but a knock back to the 70s tired (broken sink) with very dated decor. Simply for us this was an... More

This was a defiantly a highlight in our 10 day trip to Cora rica. We stayed 2 nights and it was amazing. Great views from our superior room. And super fun hotel for the kids with all the slides in the pools. My kids loved the big slide that go into the hot spring pool. We loved our walks everyday... More

Like others, I believe there are some things that could be improved. The staff was extremely accommodating, which is a great aspect in the hotel/service market. Originally, my friend and I were given a room right beside of a construction side, which in a map that the front desk provided it looked far apart (issues with scale in the map).... More

The hotel grounds felt very safe and homey. Front desk workers were nice and helpful. Breakfast was a really nice buffet and the hot springs included with the reservation were amazing. There were frog, butterfly, crocodile, leaf cutter ants, and turtle "houses" on the grounds which were fun to visit. Rooms can be a long very hilly walk from the... More

The grounds of the hotel are really stunning and on the backdrop you would see Arenal volcano. The pools with hot spring water are also nice and clean. The breakfast is not extensive, but good. The rooms are clean. Would be good to have WiFi reaching the rooms, you can really only use it in the reception area. Would also... More

Staff is extremely accommodating. We had to move rooms twice because in the first the air conditioning didn't work at all, in the second it worked so well that there was literally a river of water on the floor that we had to move rooms or we would be falling on the tile. They upgraded us for free to a... More

I stayed here on a girl's trip with my sisters and daughter mid October. Los Lagos grounds are very pretty. There is a lot to see and the pools are very nice. The hotel has several different animal displays such as frogs and alligators on a nice winding walkway area. There are several pools including some private ones with chair... More

Checking into the resort was a bit sketchy because they couldn't find our reservation for 15 minutes, which made me a bit nervous since we booked it 2 months prior. Once that was figured out, everything went smooth. The rooms were super clean and actually quite big. We stayed up the side of the mountain, which was a 2-3 minute... More

I was here a couple of weeks ago with some friends. We were spending a few days in La Fortuna and wanted to visit some hot springs before heading out of town. After some internet research, it seemed that Los Lagos was the best deal. $15 per person for the whole day for the hot springs. Both towels and lockers... More
