Many of the resorts in La Fortuna are very crowded and touristy, but Los Lagos is nice and quiet. Our room had two comfortable queen beds, a nice-sized bathroom and a living area with mini fridge and 2 flat-screen TVs. Step outside your room in the morning for a fabulous view of the volcano. The pool areas were beautiful and...

We did the Arenal Hanging Bridges tour and we loved it- about 2 hours of slow walking. We saw toucans and howler monkeys. The...

Traveled here with another older friend and spent one day/night (a Saturday). Property is beautiful and very large. You can spend several hours just exploring the grounds and seeing what they have to offer. Croc, butterfly, frog and ant farm are all included in the cost of the stay. Restaurant is very large and food was decent enough but expensive....
