Decent pools, both warm and cool, but not even close to being as grand as Tobacon Springs or some of the other springs nearby. If what you are looking for is a comfortable, well-maintained room with a decent shower, in a peaceful location (nothing nearby but other resorts and hotels and springs), then this is a good place to stay....

We were very glad that we stayed at this hotel for only one day, since the rooms were much less nice than other places that we stayed, although we paid over $200USD for accommodations for 4. The shower ran out of hot water before 1/2 of us could take a shower. On the bright side, the "hot springs" area was...

Loved my stay in this hotel with its beautiful grounds. Loads of birds to keep you company including all sorts of humming birds. Loved the hot springs. Used breakfast as my dinner as had lunch on a couple of trips and they filled me up. There is a shop in the grounds i called the sweet shop. Staff very friendly....

We loved the Volcano Lodge and Springs hotel and found the staff friendly and efficient. The property was a lovely size - not too big and not too small. The view of Arenal Volcano from their hot spring pool as we sipped away at our cocktails while soothing those aches and pains from the riding and hiking was a relaxing...

The junior suite was more than expected. Open the terrace door to your own secluded, rain forest feel complete with actual private hot springs. Grounds are wonderful and staff at your beckon call. Costa Ricans love their country and it shows! We will return!

Though Arenal volcano has not been active since 2010 it is a beautful area to hike. The staff at the Volcano Lodge were very nice. I had a late massage after a day of hiking and my watch was stolen from the massage room. I called the front desk first thing the next morning since I knew I had the...

We had a very nice stay here. Our room was spacious with a beautiful backyard and view of the Arenal volcano. Yes, we did see it. Cloudy the first day, but on the second day, the clouds gradually lifted throughout the day and it was beautiful. The grounds are incredibly beautiful with a wonderful walking path around the whole facility....

Booked a suite which came with a private outdoor garden and hot spring tub. Would go back. Included breakfast in the morning was decent - create your own omelette station which was nice. Unfortunately the volcano never came out from behind its cloud cover while we were there 3 days

Had a great time here. Lovely location. It was very clean, very spacious and a couple of nice bars. The restaurant was nice. Only thing I would recommend is to enhance the lunch menu as you give the same menu for lunch and dinner. I'd stay here again and it was a great location for the local attractions.
