Overall we had a very good experience here. The location was perfect. We had a spectacular view of the volcano from our room, restaurant and other areas on the 3 days of sun and clear skies we experienced (the locals said that only 15% of the days are clear skies). The staff is pleasant and helpful. Well maintained buildings, landscape...

I loved the hotel. I liked the way the rooms/bungalows were set up. It did not feel like a hotel. It was a wonderful property. I am told our room faced a volcano. Unfortunately, we had to use our imagination. We did enjoy the thermal waters. Food was OK but not outstanding.

Lovely gardens (even in your huge bathroom!) and great for walking around. Delightful patio outside your room, complete with rocking chairs! Terrific hot-springs pool, complete with waterfall and swim-up bar, all accessible by a ramp into the water! Food was delightful, lots of choice and so fresh and delish! You must try the fresh yogurt, served in large jugs!

We had an excellent stay with 3 families (6 adults, 7 children). Had 3 sunny, rain-free days - very lucky! But, even the rainy days were fun. The hotel was very accomodating with umbrellas to rides to our rooms (happened to be at the back of the property). Front desk staff was helpful (Marco and another young woman, especially). They...

We couldn't gave picked a better place to stay. From the stunning views of the volcano either in our bed looking out the ceiling to floor windows or having a cocktail on the patio at sunset. The beds were the most comfortable we had during our two week stay. Great sleeps. The bathrooms were very clean, and yes not very...

Arenal Manoa Resort is tucked away off the main road between La Fortuna and the Arenal volcano. It is a few miles past the town and we had a bit of trouble finding the sign for it but were rewarded with beautifully landscaped grounds, a huge spa pool, commodious room and excellent breakfasts. From the beautiful restaurant with views onto...

When it's sunny and clear, the view of the volcano is breathtaking. Unfortunately, our 1st three days here were complete wash-outs and we couldn't see a thing; thankfully, the weather cleared up just as we were packing up and we finally saw the volcano. We spent the morning taking photo after photo--most right from our patio. We never swam in...

We stayed here for 3 nights earlier this week and it was pretty good. Pros: Arenal volcano views (2 days cloudy, 1 day clear), pool (empty both times we went), parking next to bungalow, lush beautiful grounds, buffet breakfast, location centrally located between La Fortuna and Arenal Volcano Cons: Unreliable and weak WiFi (signal strongest by restaurant/pool), rooms need updating...
