I ended in this place by chance but I'm glad it was great for the night I stayed it's pretty basic and laid back but at the same time relaxing and service it's good. I would recommend it. Wake up early and enjoy the sunrise it's also around good places for white water rafting.

This is a very rustic structure with thin walls and floors, lots of nice open air public space with fantastic views. Noisy highway nearby and long way from any other services. Rooms OK for the price but food is expensive as it is generally in CR. Watch your bill when eating and drinking.

We had had a long day of driving and were ready for a stop. We arrived at the hotel with no reservation and were happy to hear they had a room available. The room was great - very clean, spacious, quiet and had amazing windows that made you feel like you were in a tree house. The room was not...

We stayed here for a couple of nights in mid-August, 2015. The Lodge is a ways out of Turrialba, but the bus to Siquirres goes right past it. The room was lovely, with an absolutely gorgeous view of the town of Turrialba down below. The food in the restaurant was delish...great steaks...and the hospitality offered was second to none. Couldn't...

My fiancé and I stayed 4 nights with the lovely Turrialtico family. Our room was perfect for our needs and had a whole wall as a window from which we could see the forest. They were kind enough to allow us to stay with our loving American Stanford who made friends with all of the lodge's rescued dogs. We all...

We spent just 1 night at Turrialtico Lodge before our rafting on Rio Pacuare. It is a good location if you plan rafting next day, short distance to Siquirres to the meeting point. We arrived in the evening and were the only guests, but full restaurant staff was ready to serve us a dinner. Waiter was not English speaking, but...

I visited this hotel in May, during their off season and it was wonderful. The hotel staff was so welcoming and helpful. They helped us book a rafting trip down the beautiful Paquare River, gave us wonderful advice on what to see and do while on vacation. The restaurant in the hotel was terrific, it overlooks the town of Turrialba...

We arrived late here after a long drive. The room had all kinds of pleasant comforts, including reading lights, hot water in the shower, a mirror high enough for me to shave without bending my knees. Good beds & blanquets. Most of all the room had a large windows, giving directly to the rainforest. We saw a toucan before getting up....

We have been in Costa Rica for 6 weeks and have never encountered any hotel that tried so hard to meet our every need. There was only one room left for our first night and that was a room on the noisy side [try to avoid rooms 19-23]. They immediately moved us to room 18 the next day, a lovely...

“Check the rooms, before checking in. The top floor rooms would be good for morning coffee with a view, but see if they are big and clean enough. No views from the motel style rooms, I think, but am not sure.”

“If you stay in the lodge for the quaintness, be advised that the walls are very thin. You will hear your neighbors and the diners below and they will hear you. The rooms in the extensions are much quieter.”
