Hotel Liberia was a great place to hang out for a couple of nights in Liberia. When I arrived, I was shown to my room. A dorm style room with one twin bed, a side table with a lamp, overhead fan, and not much else. I wish there had been pictures of this room on the website, as the photos...

Good for the money, $50 for one night, free wifi, private bathroom, friendly staff, transportation to/from airport & attractions, great dining areas, rich history, close to Liberia downtown On the downside, no AC, small rooms, inadequate lighting, no hot showers, lots of mosquitos and flies, Overall I give it a 3 star: good for the money, but could be better

I had a great experience at the hotel, the staff was very friendly and did everything to make my stayed a pleasant one. The hotel has a very nice open court yard to enjoy breakfast, dinner or a cold drink.. I also like the fact that is close to everything including the parke central and the bus station... rooms are...

The hotel is nicely located, just a block from the main street and the parque central. The hotel has a nice open air lobby, restaurant, and a cute little courtyard. They offer private rooms and have 2 shared rooms (no bunk beds!). The place is well maintained and is very clean. The staff are great. Warren was a gentleman and...

Good place for a one night in Liberia. Price is a little bit high and the room is small and very basic. But staff is very friendly, rooms are clean and there is cheap landry in the hotel. Also there is not very expensive restaurant. Location is close to everything in the city.

Travelling on a low budget, two of my friends and I spend one night at this hotel. When we first arrived we had nocht yet made a reservation but the staff was very nice and helpful and they made a very good offer to us. We spent the night in a room suitable for three people with shared bathroom (although...

My girlfriend and I have been travelling for 10 months now, and it was this place that has inspired me to create a trip advisor comment! We have only stayed here for one night, but what a place! The food, the rooms, and most of all, the staff were absolutely amazing for the price you pay. My mother and two...

Spent our first night in Costa Rica here as its close to the Liberia airport. Taxi took us right to the door. The room was comfortable and not too warm. The shower was cold (so I made it a quick one!). Very basic room: bed, side table, 2 shelves for clothes/luggage, window that opened, and bathroom with a toilet, tp,...

The staff were probably the most friendly and helpful of any hotel I've ever stayed at. They were wonderful. The room was clean and comfortable with a/c and a big flat screened TV, wifi and a comfortable outside patio area. For the cost of this hotel it was a bargain. We were met with coffee and a treat upon arrival....

Hotel Liberia was a ver relaxing hotel. The room was extremely basic, but the bed was good. The courtyard was nice, but I prefer to have some hammocks or something. However the service (especially melany) was amasing. She really went above and beyond to help me get back my lost sweater.
