Just a one nighter here as my regularly frequented hotels were booked solid. Appreciated the ultra clean property and friendly staff. Careful room 3, though: i took it as that was all available (pro rodeo booked many hotels). The outside light shines through the large room window in spite of (light) curtains and the traffic noise was high until after...

Pleasant stay here after initial hiccough with debit card. Costa Rica does not like your debit card so if and when you get it to work they charge you. The food in the restaurant is pretty good though wine a bit pricey. No cheese board for us Europeans. Breakfast is just under 5000 colones fruit and omelette or panini or...

I stayed here for one night at the beginning and end of my trip with an educational group. The first night's room was right behind the office and was equipped with a nice tiled bathroom area, a double bed and a single bed. There was a safe in the bathroom, although the key I was given didn't work, but since...

I stayed at Hotel La Riviera primarily because of the good reviews for airport transportation. I was not disappointed! I stayed there on my way into and out of Costa Rica. I had terrible arrival and departure times but they were able to accommodate that without any issue. You do need to email them ahead of time to arrange a...

Delicious breakfast is included. This place is secure, clean and very calm. The location is perfect since everything is near. The parking lot is safe. The customer service is warm and they make you feel care and like home. We will return for sure.

This hotel has a good, clean, basic room at a great rate that includes free shuttle to airport and free breakfast. The breakfast is served in the adjacent restaurant, a pretty setting and a very nice breakfast spread. The service was wonderful and the food fresh. One of the best things about Costa Rica is the wonderful coffee without the...

Hotel La Riviera is located very close to downtown and within walking distance of many restaurants, banks and stores. It has undergone a large renovation and the rooms are very nicely decorated with TV and nice comfortable beds, AC and very nice new bathrooms. The downfall.... NO HOT WATER!!! and the internet is only available in an area where it...

“I stayed with a friend the first night in a room with two beds. The night I left, I stayed in a room with a queen. The room with a queen was really nice and right by the pool. I thought it was a nicer/cozier room.”

“We had a quiet room but with no windows on the bottom floor near the dining area which was very loud and busy when the large group was eating breakfast. Although the room was only 20 feet from the wifi area, we could not connect to the wifi in our room. Perhaps the second floor rooms have a better connection and it seems like many of the second floor rooms have windows. If you want a great sleep, but no hot water showers, then this is the place to be. The rooms were immaculate because of their very recent renovations (which were so new we could smell fresh paint in the room). Luckily, the hotel is close to a restaurants within a 5 - 10 min. walk because breakfast is not available to everyone who stays here.”
