Very clean, great service and good drinks and food! Though you haven oceanview from the restaurant it is like you are sitting in the tree tops. Free and safe parking, after eating you can stroll down to playa grade beach! Nice place!
This is a not just a surfer's dream spot, it is also a great place to just relax, take a few yoga classes, walk on the beach or book an all day tour. The rooms are clean and comfortable with good mattress and linens. The...More

My husband and I had been to Costa Rica once before to the Nosara area. We really enjoyed our trip to RJI though and its proximity to the airport, far enough out to feel remote but close enough to medical facilities in case of emergencies....More

The beach at low tide is great for kids to swim and play and there some really cool tide pools that my daughter loves to hang out in and see all sorts of fish. At high tide the waves come in and that's when people surf so it can be a little more difficult for children. Playa Grande breaks in several different locations so if you are a beginner you can simply choose a more mellow spot away from the main break. If you are looking for surf lessons you should contact Frijoles Locos as they have the best instructors and they are all certified.
Hope that helps!
