The rooms are OK, basic, no-frills. There are a lot of monkeys outside that will keep you up at night. We were on the 2nd floor so we could hear monkeys making noise along the roof. Also, the guy at reception was nice but not very useful- had no recos for restaurants, yoga or any activities. Beware, the hotel is...

This hotel was in a great location within walking distance of the main strip all the restaurants and beaches. The room was wonderful and we had a great terrace overlooking the beach! The restaurant next door offers amazing food and drink! The hotel was even able to set up a private massage in the room on the terrace for us...

The rooms were decent, but this is definitely a no-frills hotel. The staff is not knowledgeable at all and they aren't present 24/7. The young man 'managing' the hotel took forever to explain basic directions and they didn't have recommendations on excursions, restaurants, yoga classes, or pretty much anything. They also did not know how to mail a postcard. The...

I wish I didn't have to do this. We tried to work with this hotel. I understand that Costa Rica is not America (which is also one of the things that makes it so charming) but there are certain rights that all travelers should have regardless. To make a long story short, after dealing with minor inconvenience (no safe upon...

This place is great! The owner of the hotel business is French and she is awesome. Full of useful tips and her and her husband own a restaurant also. Very clean and you get what you pay for... this isn't a 5 star hotel but you are on the beach and it is secure. There is a guy that works...

This hotel is brilliant!! The pictures are not showing how beatiful this place is with the amazing view, scenery and direct access to the beach through the big garden in front. We booked for one night and ended up staying 4 nights because we simply did not want to leave this beautiful place and experience. Casa Blanca is so much...

Very clean and right on the beach. We enjoyed staying here. It is on the beach but set back a bit. Just a short walk to town from this hotel. It was a quiet and relaxing place. There was lots of seating outside that made it nice to sit out and enjoy nature.

This hotel was a wonderful quiet oasis away from the busy strip of Tamarindo. It is located just at the beginning of the town near the river estuary and right next to Pangas Beach Club. We were a little worried that the beach club would be too noisy but had no problems whatsoever. The main strip and beaches of Tamarindo...

Alexia was the most wonderful host we could ask for. She greeted us upon arrival and showed us our room as well as the hotel grounds. The place has only a few rooms and thus we had personal attention from Alexia and the staff. The hotel grounds are gorgeous! We even got to see howler monkeys as they were passing...
