Unable to find anything that worked correctly. Shower did not posed a head just pipe out of wall. Better to have slept on floor than the bed supplied. Please beware but place ok if you are deaf since traffic very loud close by. Gave place a one star because we stayed dry when it rained during night.

This is the worst hotel I have ever stayed in. There is no shower head so it is just a trickle of water to shower under. To turn on the bathroom tap you have to hold onto the spout in order to turn the tap because the tap is not attached to the sink. The beds are awful. If possible...

This by far the most disgusting hotel I have ever stayed in in my life. It is beyond basic. I could barely sleep. The pillows, bed, sheets are something that should have been thrown away a long time ago. People walking and talking in the room above were like they were in our room. Do not go here!

Cabinas Vaz is in the middle of Cahuita village but not so close that you can hear everything! The complex is kept clean and the swimming pool was used a lot by my friends. Breakfast was perfectly fine and the wifi worked really well. The reception staff were helpful and the rooms are comfy, but basic. For the amount you...

Living in Playas Del Coco some friends and I wanted to go see the area around Cahuita. Went through San Jose (mistake, go via La Fortuna) which took close to 11 hours, a LOT of truck traffic between Limon and San Jose on Hwy 32 slowed us up. Arrived tired in Cahuita around 5 pm and looked for a place...

We stayed a couple nights at Cabinas Vaz. It's quite a large complex almost in the heart of Cahuita, which makes it within easy walking distance to everything. There are several two-storey sections, a pool, and large parking area. It's fine. Our room had a king-sized bed, hot water, a cooking area (complete with sink and kitchen supplies), a fan,...

The hotel looks really nice and has nice rooms and friendly employees who try to help, but it is the owner that makes the place to one of the worse in town. If you ever have any problem or doubt, do not expect any help from the owner. The employees try to help, but when it comes to decisions, they...

I stayed one night, It was impossible to miss this hotel as you are getting off the bus. There was some noise from the local bars but nothing too bad. Everything was clean although a little worn. But for the price with a huge pool, air conditioning, cable TV and Wifi, it was more than adequate. My only negative comment...

We stayed at the Vaz for one night. The price was right, the bed comfortable. Curtains had seen better days and made the room look dirty as they were stained. The main room was clean but the bathroom had lots of dust and cobwebs. The only person we say was a young man who looked only about 16 yrs, he...
