My friend Jim and I fished three days here at the lodge. Judy and here team go beyond to make sure you are well cared for. Elver, our guide, worked tirelessly to keep us on good fishing. I just returned from my seventh trip to Rio Parismina Lodge. Owner, Judy Heidt, has this fishing trip down to a carefree science. From your arrival in San Jose, Costa Rica, to your departure, all details are carefully coordinated to perfection. The Tarpon fishing continues to be an annual excursion for me. Last year, I booked the entire lodge (for... More

Just can't get any better than working with the Rio Parismina guides and catching Tarpon before and after great lunch. Captain Warde Michaels is who you want to call to set up the perfect trip. 407 851-1909. I'm a repeat customer.

My Father and I went to Rio Parismina Lodge a couple of weeks ago. Our plans were altered due to President Obama being in San Jose. All small planes were grounded. Not to worry the lodge had a van waiting for us and we took the long (and scenic) drive close to the lodge. A quick boar ride and we... More

My husband caught a 165 lb tarpon, which took a grown man 2 HOURS to get to the boat! Aside from the heat there were no complaints. We would like to thank Judy and all the... More
