I was at Villas del Caribe the last week of March and highly recommend it. We got the cheapest room available so my description of the room speaks only to our room and none of the other upgraded ones. Our room in particular was on the second floor and faced the beach but I think all rooms have a beach...

Very nice location and the rooms are great, they look just like the pictures. We had a nice ocean view and A/C in the room. Big balcony with a hammock and table + chairs. Make sure you try the restaurant, it is excellent! it was the best food we had in Costa Rica. They make specials every day - try...

Spent three weeks with nursing students in Costa Rica. Spent the weekend in limón at small resort. Very clean and wonderful service. Excellent restaurant. Rained one day but still great experience. Pool area and beach were wonderful. Students and I had great time. Need transportation to town but would recommend to all.

Unfortunately I was not able to stay at this hotel, but I know it since many years and was always received in a very friendly way when passing by as I work in the travel agency industry. This time I had dinner at their restaurant.

Really loved this hotel. The room was beautiful and so comfy, really spacious and a wonderful view onto the beach from the balcony. I think the price is spot on, and very fair. The staff are very helpful and friendly; the receptionist carried my bag to the room for me without me asking which I thought was so nice of...

Pros - Almost right on the beach Breakfast is nice and with a beautiful view to the sea. Nice reception. There is a hammock in the room, and you can even see the beach and the sea from the room (it's very close). There is a safe in the room. Cons - The rooms that come without the air conditioner...

We haven't stayed there in many years, but it was wonderful then. It was simpler and more beautiful. There was much less environmental damage. However, we WOULD NOT stay there now. They use the practice of burning to get rid of their garbage. It's bad enough to be in the area when this happens, but as a guest I cannot...
