Most of the tours of Tortuguerro are for one or two nights, I was wondering if 4 nights would be too much, absolutely not! The wild life is spectacular, beach walks, jungle hikes and the town is great. The Aracari is centrally located with easy access to everything Tortuguerro has to offer. Tortuguerro is a great way to start a...

We had a twin-bed room with bathroom - No.8 with small patio, fan in the room and very hot water. The owners were charming, helpful and we enjoyed our stay. Free coffee available from 5.00 am, a communal kitchen and refrigerator as Aracari is a hostel. They accept credit card payment BUT remember to take cash (either USD or local...

The hostel is really nice, rooms are clean and big, the garden is clean and has hammocks and sofas to chill, the location is perfect, central and quiet and the staff is really polite and helpful. Totally recommendable for your stay in Tortuguero, also for a couple in a double room! There is even a permanent resident in the garden:...

I wish I could have stayed longer - my husband and I had 2 nights booked at this hostel, but due to hurricane Otto the whole island was evacuated and so we had to leave after just one night. Aracari Garden had very friendly staff, a relaxed vibe, and wonderfully clean and well-equipped rooms. In fact, our private room with...

Lovely owners, the tours I made via the hostel (night walk, canoe tour, transfer to Puerto Viejo) were great fun. It's not a party place, there were a few older guests as well but I guess Tortuguero overall is for the nature, not the party. Just one peace of advice: take enough cash with you. The only place to get...

Nice hostel in Tortuguero village with a good standard (just to be clear, big luxury cannot be expected in all Tortuguero village) Very friendly & helpful staff (they took very good care of me when I was a little sick; definitely more than what you would expect). Relaxed atmosphere, you can even spot animals while laying in the hammocks Excellent...

My 13 year old son and I stayed here. Marina couldn't of been more welcoming and helpful. The location is central enough to walk to everything within a few minutes and the beach is just behind but quiet enough to relax on one of their hammocks and listen to the jungle. Rooms were spotlessly clean. We felt very safe there,...

We stayed 3 nights in a private 3 person room during August 2016. The staff couldn't have been nicer. We did the turtle tour and the canoe trip with Luiz who was really knowledgeable and clearly very passionate about the environment and biodiversity within the village and it's waters. The hostel was clean, had great facilities and a great sitting...
