Great, quiet location with the beach right there. Big, simple rooms. Prices are per person - $10 for shared bath, $12 private bath with cold water, $15 private bath with hot water and a few other upgrades. We stayed in the $12pp room. The only problem with it was thin walls , but we only had neighbors for one of... More

One of the least expensive places in town and for only $20 per night for a room all to myself that could have fit 4 people it was so worth it. No hot water (you don't need it here anyway), a fan/no ac (ac also not needed here), nice bathroom, Fast wifi, shared kitchen, hammocks and tables outside, staff on... More

We stay here for 2 nights. The room was simple but really clean, comfortable and with hot water. The hostel has a kitchen where we can cook our meals... The staff is nice, friendly and very helpfull. The hostel is just a few steps from the beach but we can't swim in the coast because of the strings and sharks.... More

The price was $34. It wasn't worth a penny more. The problem is, that in Tortuguero are not fancy hotels, and all of them are simple as the entire village. The room was deep under our standards, and we tried to spend the minimum time possible in the room. The front desk and the crew were not young people (except... More

Simple rooms at an excellent price - we were very happy and totally recommend. Rey was very welcoming and allowed me to use the phone on multiple occasions when I had issues with bookings. The kitchen is well-stocked and equipment is good quality. They also have wellies to rent for trekking in the park.

In front of the Caribbean sea... clean place, not if you're looking for something luxurious... We had a great time, very friendly staff and the boss is a great wise guy. It's a quiet place because it's not in the center of Tortuguero and that's a good thing! Recommended...

This is a lovely little hotel right next to the national park! Great location, lovely and quiet and very welcoming! Rey made us feel right at home! Great hammocks to chill in, fully stocked kitchen, wellies to hire, quick wifi and very warm water! All for 10 dollars a night! Can't complain! Can't recommend more! If you've been staying in... My husband and I stayed here for 2 nights and we both left feeling like we really wanted one more day. This cabina is right on the beach and is located within the village of Tortuguero which ended up being the best part about staying here. You can walk anywhere within 5-15 minutes depending on where your going. There are... More

PROs + great price + just a few steps away from the beach, but do mind the waves; sea's rough there + clean, + common, well equipped kitchen + hammocks in front of the rooms where you can lie down, relax and just listen to the sea + they have cold beer in the small reception. What more could you... More

We stayed 3 nights at this hotel and enjoyed it. The location is great, right at the beach and a very short walk from the National park. Tortuguero nature is beautiful and would def recommend the kayak tour with guide and the walk without guide (rent the boots at the hotel, you will need them!) Rooms are simple, but spacious... More
