we spent 3 nights here, did 2 boat trips, a guided walk, a night walk and the town tour. The guides were excellent, the hotel manager Johnny very customer focused. The lodges are basic but clean and surrounded by forest and wildlife. The restaurant is fine and the food good but

We stayed here for two night in January. Its a sprawling place with cabins buried in the grounds......some of them are a long way from the central area! We stayed here 4 years ago, back them the rooms were basic and rustic but this time we had a recently built and very nice,

Magical place (despite the rain!! ) in the rain forest, accessible only by boat. Our guides Fernando and Manuel were amazing and really informative on the guided boat trip and walk. A two night stay is plenty. Food is delicious too.

There were security walking around at night, must admit the place felt very safe, only way to get there is by boat. there is a safe in your room for valuables. Guess like any trip you just have to be careful and attentive. Wonderful place to visit, lots of wild life and very close to nature. Staff at resort are very friendly and helpful. Enjoy your trip.

Sorry, just saw this. No. Pachira lodge plans all of your activities. It's all inclusive and because of the remote nature of the trip, they plan everything. You can do zips or other activities during free time, but I'd recommend zipping in another CRan town. This is quite a unique experience and with all the activities they had, I chose to lounge by the pool and read.
