Where to start. This place is fantastic, glamping at its' finest. We travelled with our 2 teenagers in December and this was the highlight of our trip to Costa Rica. We got 2 tents for more space but you could fit a family of 4...More

We had a wonderful time as a family in Rafiki. We were picked up at the airport by their shuttle service and driven to the property about 3 hours away. The driver stopped for drinks at our request, and we were able to see crocodiles....More
If you are on a honeymoon, the honeymoon suite is fabulous, very private, with its own outdoor jacuzzi!! Yet steps away from the main lodge and other guests. We have stayed in both the honeymoon suite and the regular tent-cabins, all most luxurious and yet...More

The Savegre Valley brings cool breezes from over 12,000 feet down to the camp, so it is quite pleasant at night. Rafiki is not really all that buggy. You will find the beaches in the country to have more bugs. We (unfortunetaly in my opinion) have improved the internet at the lodge. You don't have to tell your kids, but yes there is good quality wifi. I prefer to see family play cards, engage in conversation with other families, sit in the hot tub and watch the stars, or go down the slide at night (yeooow!).Let me know if you have any other questions! Sincerely, Lautjie
