The bathroom windows don't close and there are no screens in the bathroom. Even in the $80 a night aircondition rooms. There is Zika virus in Jaco...The pool is nice. It's close to the beach. Nice people working there. but having a mosquito buzzing in your room isn't cool.

Very laid back, reminds me what Jaco was like before it all turned commercial. Owner's were super cool with my senile old father and his little dog who goes everywhere with him. Rooms are clean and basic, little small but not a problem unless you plan on spending all your time inside.

We have been travelling around Costa Rica for two weeks now and have booked as we go. The location of this hotel is good, very close to the beach and the pool/garden is ok. However, for $80 US, it was not worth it. I am actually still confused about the price, another couple walked in and were offered a room... More

I left the usa with a very simple plan...go to Costa Rica. Without any idea of what to do and where to go a friend of a friend said "check out Jaćo" so I did. I knew nothing of the place and was dropped at the beach, with my backpack and Rottweiler along for the adventure. I checked several places... More

I traveled around Costa Rica for 2 weeks and this room was not worth the $60.00 per night that we paid. The bed was not comfortable and the furniture was very basic and old. The hotel was clean and the pool was nice. The biggest disappointment was when it came to pay the bill. The girl who showed us the... More

Hello, Sorry for this inconvenience, The real price of a room with AC and breakfast is 60$ but when people stay more than one night i'm alowed do a discount. It was a combination of circumstances because when people don't pay directly i put the price in the reservation' book and because I was alone and 3 rooms have been... More

Don't judge the book by the cover . Inside this lovely complex you will find a very warm and friendly atmosphere. Nice pool and greenery. 30 seconds from the beach and very safe. The staff is extremely friendly and accommodating . Kid friendly and a perfect place for family activity. We will return,

I thoroughly enjoyed my stay, a little bit of a walk to central Jaco, but 100 yards from the ocean & beach, next to Clarita's world famous bar & hotel. Taxis are inexpensive, pool is fantastic & free WiFi. Housekeeping is great & the ladies are very accommodating & sweet. Pet friendly also.

I drove up in the dark, exhausted, having no idea what I was getting myself into with this hotel but not willing to stay on the “strip” at Jaco. The sign advertised good prices and it provides secured parking. The rate was a bit higher than I usually pay but it was late and the room looked decent so I... More

It was very good, fun and better than most budget hotels. Only drawback was very, very thin ceilings, i could hear every step the people above me took. Other than that it was a pleasant stay and the pool was excellent. It was a very short walk to the beach as well. Also it was safe and we had no... More

We often visit El Jardin. Sometimes we take our three children there and they love to spend time in the pool. We also can take them right around the corner for a long walk on the beach. Other times just my wife and I go for a little break, stay there spend time at the pool, go to a local... More
