We stayed here for 3 nights at the end of our tour of Costa Rica and had a lovely time.We were upgraded to a superior room which had it's own separate kitchen with coffee maker, microwave, full size fridge freezer and a two ring cooker. There were two double beds and a built in wardrobe with a safe.Reception will also lend you an...

Located 50m off the main strip gives the Espadilla a more peaceful air. Nice spacious rooms with fridge, safe box, 2 double beds and an inbuilt wardrobe and air-conditioning. Breakfast is good and like many Costa Rican hotels is served outside in a covered area. Dinner is good, perhaps too many sauces and perhaps expensive but service is exceptional. No...

Close to the park and the beach. Best restaurant food we've had the whole trip. Our family stayed at Hotel Playa Espadilla over a long weekend. It's tucked away just off the 300 meter entrance road to the park (look for the sign) about 100 meters from the beach and the main road through town. Really quiet spot. I have...

This is an ideal location for exploring Manuel Antonio National Park. The park is less than a 10 minute walk from the hotel as is the beach. If planning a park visit, be aware that the line for tickets can be very long, slow moving, and mostly under the hot sun. The beach within the park is much nicer than...

To start, the hotel has fantastic surroundings. The grounds are a ten minute walk to Parque Nacional Manuel Antonio, and a five minute walk to Playa Espadilla. We saw plenty of wildlife during our stay - and not just at the park! The days began with butterflies and birds, lizards around noon, and geckos and moths after dusk. Not to...

This is a pleasant and very convenient hotel, about half way between the beach and the entrance to the park. Rooms are spacious and clean. Air conditioning and WiFi are good. The restaurant is very good, with a hearty breakfast included in the price. The best part is the pool, where you can order drinks and entire meals and consume...

This is a very nice little hotel about five minutes walk from the beach in one direction and the national park in the other, but far enough off away from the beach front to be nice an quiet. The room was pretty simple but clean and tidy and had everything we needed. The grounds are lovely and well maintained and...

I switched to this hotel after being very unhappy with where I was booked. I'm so glad I did. The hotel and surrounding's are beautiful, the room is so comfortable and spacious and the staff is great. Also, a fantastic location. Highly recommend.

We stayed at this hotel 2 nights because it was highly recommended by the company that prepared our tour. All they mentioned as positive points was true: great location, awesome food at their restaurant, very clean and comfortable rooms, and mainly an outstanding staff. The landscape is beautiful and very well kept, their proximity to Manuel Antonio National Park is...
