If you're wanting a place with amazing beauty, wonderful sounds of nature, outstanding food, and friendly staff who make you feel at home, Luna Lodge is the one for you. Lana, our gracious host, has created a place of peacefulness. Their commitment to the rainforest and to sustainability efforts is evident throughout. My stay was all I had hoped for...

Just back from leading a yoga retreat at Luna Lodge. This was our second visit to this amazing place. Now it feels like family, and we are planning another trip in 2018. I love bringing people here for a chance to tune out the noise of modern life and tune in to the quieter voice inside as well as the...

I didn't stay at Luna Lodge, but I went for some yoga, a massage and lunch. Lana was really lovely, as was her mother and her entire staff. My massage and my meal were top notch. The property was really beautiful. I went on the waterfall hike and really enjoyed my morning. You can tell a lot of love and...

The Osa Peninsula is one of the most gloriously lush and living places on this planet, and Luna Lodge was the perfect place to stay while experiencing it. We stayed one of the tents, and waking the first morning in a tent to the cries of howler monkeys and the screams of macaws in the early morning was one of...

This was my sixth trip to magnificent Costa Rica. I found Luna Lodge, on the Osa Peninsula via Google. "Per unit area, the Osa Peninsula holds possibly the highest natural diversity on earth. The National Geographic magazine described the Osa Peninsula as the most biologically intense place on earth. I was searching for an eco-lodge. This place was perfect for...

My husband and I visited Luna Lodge on our honeymoon, and it was the perfect place to experience the Osa Peninsula. Lana and her staff are incredibly helpful and friendly - from greeting us at the hotel with a cold glass of water on our arrival, to recommending trips and activities for us to do during our stay, the level...

My sister and I spent a heavenly 7 days at Luna Lodge. It is truly one of the most beautiful places on earth I have ever had the great fortune to see. Nestled in the amazing rain forest with fly overs and visits in the surrounding trees by the many Macaws, Toucans, Tanagers, Hummingbirds and so many more lovely birds....

My husband and I, along with my parents, spent 5 nights at Luna Lodge - we could have stayed 5 more nights... Lana, Mom, and the whole staff are just wonderful. My husband and I are birders (watcher and photographer), and we were in paradise. What a fabulous place to relax, meet great people, and see beautiful surrondings. I cannot...

I came here with my family of 4 and we had an unforgettable time. Luna Lodge is a wonderful place to recharge and commune with nature, especially if you're burnt out from work, school or city life like us. The views from the bungalows, yoga platform and dining room were stunning. To be having coffee on the deck while being...

Official Description (provided by the hotel)
Secluded in the tropical rain forest bordering Corcovado National Park, Luna Lodge is a unique resort described by many as "...a piece of true paradise". Its appeal is, not only, its natural beauty and environment, where the heliconia hang three feet long, and the howler monkeys wake you in the morning, but also, its ambiance. The owners' passion for the preservation of the forest is ever present, and the attentive courtesy, friendly staff always serve "con mucho gusto... with pleasure". ... more   less
