The Lookout Inn is well hidden as it is built into and up a hillside across from the beach at nearly the end of the road. It is a quaint mix of cabins and buildings, each with its on character. It is a solar powered facility so lacks a few of the amenities a hotel might have, but it more...

We enjoyed our stay at the Lookout Inn ..up with the macaws and howlers and some wonderful photo opportunities. Terry is a great host, and the lodge is well organised ..rooms cleaned during breakfast, etc. The food is healthy and cpious, and the beer is cheap compared to other lodges. The position just above the beach is amazing for seeing...

We were looking forward to our stay here in the Osa Peninsular and in particular here at Lookout Inn and we were not disappointed. It is situated in an incredibly scenic location with very little else around apart from pristine beach and jungle. The welcome was warm and our Tiki Hut accommodation was a perfect space to feel like you...

If you want to experience Costa Rica's nature, the Lookout Inn might be one of the better spots where to stay. You will be sleeping in the tropical forest with no walls, facing the Pacific Ocean. You will fall asleep hearing the waves and the ciccadas, and you be be awaken by the scarlet macaws. Sitting on my cabin's deck,...

this is not a relay and chateaux lodge , it does not have all mod coms , there are lots of steps , there is a lot of wildlife . So you can either take this as a warning , or as a reason to stay here. We thoroughly enjoyed our 6 nights , we stayed in the honeymoon suite,...

I have been traveling to Costa Rica since 1991 and have already visited many of its beautiful locations. It wasn't until the last 15 years or so that it became possible to easily visit the Osa Peninsula. Because I want to see nature, my last seven trips have been several week stays at the Lookout Inn (TLI) in Carate Beach....

We stayed here for a week over Christmas and it was amazing. One of the best places we have ever been. A little bit of paradise. Beautiful decks overlooking deserted beaches and the Pacific. Monkeys everywhere, toucans and Scarlett macaws in the trees. Just beautiful. It's a great base for exploring Corcovado park too and terry and the team will...

We spent four wonderful days at Terry and Kattia’s Lookout Inn, experiencing the sounds and sights of the birds, reptiles, insects and animals of the Osa Peninsula - more so than we ever imagined. There are two means of accessing the remote location, either by air or a 45 km gravel road that takes 1 1/2 to 2 hours from...

My husband and I stayed here for a week, in the Blue Butterfly room. Everything about this place is special: the food, the views, the wildlife, the rooms, the service, the many nooks and crannies, gardens, ponds, pools, hammocks, etc etc. We thought of it as "luxurious roughing it" because you are essentially sleeping in the open air on the...
