We're a family of three and we just got back from 12 days in Costa Rica where we backpacked the whole time. We wanted to find some place where we could be immersed in the wild heart of the country away from the crowds of places further north. We were so lucky to stumble upon Bolita Hostel. To get there...

Had the most amazing time. If you'r into nature, this is your place. Be prepared to hike beautifull places and enjoy great kindness from the owner and volunteers. Book several nights, because you will extend your stay anyway.

I spent here 2 incredible weeks. Super relaxing stay, in the middle of the jungle, having dinner at candle light, waking up with the sun and the animals' sound, meeting wonderful people, hiking every day. You will enjoy river walks, waterfall swim and incredible viewpoints where sunrise or sunset are superbe. Very chill out place, a must go if you...
