The clubhouse/ dorms are at the head of three or four excellent trails winding out through the jungle past panoramic views to waterfalls and river-beds. You bring and cook your own food, fresh potable...

I spent 5 weeks at Bolita and they were by far and away the best 5 weeks of my trip. The house is a 20-30 minute hike from the Bolita office in Dos Brazos de Tigres (a very nice little gold-mining village with a population of 150 very friendly locals). The house is very comfortable although very simple - the...

Extremely chilled jungle shack with everything you need to experience Costa Rica's best Forrest. We woke up to the frantic call of the howling monkey, saw 3 varietys of poison arrow frog, Toucans, Macaws, bulk loads of humming birds and a couple of familys of monkeys. Ron's a very friendly, helpful bloke with a green style you'll want to adapt...

We spent 4 nights at bolita and had a great time! If you like nature and hiking and don't need much comfort this is definetly your place! The owner, ron, is a super nice person and always willing to answer your questions. The trails are beautiful and the wildlife is the same as in the corcovado national park, because the...
