Left DC for rest, relaxation and fishing. Great fishery and beautiful beaches. Off the beaten path but that is what I found most enjoyable. Clean room and beautiful pool area. Friendly staff. The only thing keeping me from a 5 star is the restaurant. Food good just not spectacular for the price.

Nice, clean place with really good food, a nice pool and access to the beach. The road to get there is a dirt road, not too easy to drive. But it`s worth it. The houses of the property are built quite close to each other and there is not too much green. Therefore it doesn`t really feel like you`re in...

I was so happy to find this place on airbnb, booked 4 nights with confirmation of 314$ (78.5$ per night with fees included). Later I found out the driving time back to San Jose will take too long so we decided to break the trip in half and asked Agua Dulce if we could shorten the trip down to 3...

I've stayed at Agua Dulce three times and loved it each time. The rooms are steps away from the pool/restaurant, and a private stretch of gorgeous beach. Each time we visited, I saw Scarlett macaws, heard howler monkeys, and had great service by all of the staff members. Highly recommended.

We spent three nights and four days in this hotel and saw pluses and minuses. First of all, the hotel is located far from Puerto Jimenez which is good and bad. The good part is that you don't hear air planes which are quite loud as we figured just from dining in town. The hotel is quiet and peaceful because...

The hotel was way of the grid!! Way down in the Oso Peninsula!! Very beautiful peninsula!! It seemed to be more for locals who go there on vacation. No TV. Rooms were very plain. The bathrooms were huge, but the windows were available for everyone to see in, the blinds did not close. (this is if you had the beach...

Hello, Greetings from ADBR!!! We hope that you and your family are doing great. I was on duty when you first came that afternoon. I also remember that you mentioned clearly that the hotel was good, but your wife did not like the location, however you never said anything about windows, doors or security at all. Also, I remember that...

We stayed at couple of nights at the Agua Dulce resort after spending a little over a week at Iguana lodge right next door. While the iguana lodge is AMAZING it does not have A/C and is a little pricey if you're not there on a group rate. The food at Agua Dulce was a disappointment after feasting on some...

If you have not read yaaburnee's review, please do so. I agree with every word he/she wrote, especially about the security issues. Agua Dulce could be a very nice place but the administration should be run out of town on a rail. From the website, you are told that they have a swim-up bar, in-room jacuzzies, hairdryers, and that you...

Clean rooms, friendly staff. Right on the beach. Restaurant is a bit pricey, but not too bad. Has A/C and good water pressure. Arranged a day of fishing and a half day hike which was perfect. Great Value. I highly recommend commend checking it out.
