Came here for a dream fishing holiday and that is what it was. The resort itself is so easy to get to just a short drive from the tiny airstrip. The welcome from hotel owner was warm and friendly. All the staff were fantastic. There was nothing that they would no bend over backwards to do for you. The rooms...

A friend had told me about Crocodile Bay and the great fishing and jungle tours they have to offer. When its time to escape the cold of winter we normally would head to an island, but we decided to give this a try. The resort exceeded every expectation I could have had and made this the most memorable trip my...

This is great place. I would not go to same place 4 time, unless its something special. The most special about this place are people. OK, nature and fishing are great too. Hotel part - nice sized room covered with local wood. Really cold AC units. No TV's in the room - best part. Internet is only in lobby/ restaurant...

This was our first time here. So I have a few things that I feel will be helpful if you are thinking about going here: You do have a choice of the size of the fishing boat you may want. I did not know this and both sizes of boats will do inshore and offshore fishing. So being inexperienced at...

We just returned from very classy fishing resort. Four of us, two couples spent six days at the resort. Our primary purpose for the trip was fishing. That part of our trip was "not" good. In November they had 186" of rain, normal is 16". This cooled the ocean temperature to the point the fish were not active. That is...

This is the first time I've had the pleasure of visiting Costa Rica- what a beautiful country! How lucky I am that my first journey here was to Crocodile Bay Resort! We purchased this vacation package at auction all the way up in snowy Ann Arbor, Michigan, and we loved it so much that we added seven extra days. As...

My husband and I recently returned from our honeymoon at Crocodile Bay. Despite being evacuated due to Hurricane Otto 4 days into our 8-day vacation and never stepping foot on a boat (the Coast Guard cancelled fishing the 4 days we were there), we had the ABSOLUTE BEST time ever!!! Upon arriving at the resort, we were welcomed like family...

We spent 7 nights at Crocodile Bay in June, 2016. We had an incredible time! Fished 3 days (1 day inshore, the other 2 offshore). Had some nice rooster fish and other stuff on the inshore day. One of the offshore days was slow, only 1 sailfish seen, but the 3rd day was awesome! We ended up with 4 yellowfin...

I had the pleasure of staying at the Crocodile Bay Resort last week for several days and had a blast. The facilities are top notch and the location is just amazing. The hotel picks you up from the tiny Puerto Jimenez airport and 5 minutes later you are welcome with a chilled cocktail at the front desk. Beautiful location with...

Thankfully, I have been to quite a few tropical destinations in my life (Hawaii, Mexico, the Caribbean, the Mediterranean..) and my stay at Crocodile Bay tops them all! The combination of the service, food (not sure where Robert I L had to eat but I gained 4 pounds b/c the food was so good) and the unbelievable natural surroundings made...
