This hotel is owned by an American family. The place is taken care of beautifully. There are lovely flowers and quirky art everywhere the eye can see. The rooms are spacious. The food was good and the bar was very welcoming. There are two different pools and an area to sit in the shade and visit with other guests, or...

Paige and Jon are some of the nicest people I have ever met on my travels. The hotel is excellent. The location is perfect. The troop of monkeys running around is the most surreal and cutest wake up call I have ever had. And the chicken soup is my favorite item on the menu. :)

It's a nice enough hotel. The outside is beautiful, the two pools are very nice and clean, but the shower towels always had weird stains on them. Also the food was hit or miss, we had grilled chicken that was amazing, breakfast was pretty good, but we had beef fajitas that were not good at all, almost no one at...

The hotel is called "Blue Monkey". They do have a lot of sloth, monkeys in their yards. The parking is right in front of the hotel, and its location is very convenient to go to the beaches. They are waiting for their new towel shipment, so the towel is a bit old. They also run out of shampoo... but their...

We stayed @ this place for three nights. John, Paige and Juan Carlos were very friendly. Dinner was surprisingly well-made. Rooms don't have safe deposit boxes, but passports and cash could be left with Paige or John.

We were passing through Manuel Antonio on our way to the airport, when we stayed a couple nights at Mono Azul. The stay was a lot of fun. We met the owners, Paige and John, and they took great efforts making us very comfortable, fed and taking time to point out all the birds and animals that seem to enjoy...

I spent 3 days with my family in this nice small hotel. Everything was clean. The service was ok and the rate we have payed was very cheap comparing to other hotels. It is a good apportunity for people with small budget.

Stop by here because it was near the place I was staying. My family and I only had lunch and a few drinks but everything was tasty. The real gem of this place is the owner John. He's stopped and talked to us and was very friendly. Offered lots of helpful information. Even offered to have fresh brownies made for...

Not only did owner John whip up a batch of amazing "something fruity and delicious" drinks with 5 fruits and 3 kinds of alcohol but he joined us at our table for a nice chat and visit to the pool with a light to see countless Titi monkeys. Always nice to talk with a fellow mid westerner for any interesting...
