My husband and I joined our close friends for a getaway to Costa Rica on their timeshare. The Pueblo Real was absolutely beautiful, which was surprising based on the dirt road that took us to the place. It looked like a postcard. The grounds are lovely, the pool and bar were quaint and fun. We also enjoyed our made to...

This small resort near Quepos in Costa Rica is a treasure. The rooms are comfortable, but the true beauty of this place is the staff. From the superb general Manager, Elizabeth Lee, to the housekeeping staff, they are first rate. The grounds are beautifully maintained, which has to be a challenge in the jungle climate and the pool is nice....

You would never expect a clean and comfortable spot to be off a pothole ridden, rocky road, but there it was....Pueblo Real. The amenities were as expected and the staff was friendly. Quiet and safe destination. A couple drawbacks however....water pressure sucks. You can't shower when someone else in the condo is nor can you flush the toilet sufficiently. The...

A+ Pool nice, large, kid friendly; grounds are B+, rooms A. Rates are reasonable. Some of the tours are a good deal though only used Ocean King boat tour. Down a long dirt road, would recommend Rafa Monkey Tour around corner on river. Easy access to Quepos, Manuel Antonio, and Playa Palo Seca.

We stayed at Pueblo Real as the main base for our Pacific Coast Costa Rican adventure. The resort is just off the main highway on the Pacific Coast. It is approximately 5 KM north of the town of Quepos. You need to be VERY aware or you will miss the turn off the highway. I would absolutely recommend that anyone...

We tremendously enjoyed our stay in the second floor, 2 bdrm, 2 bath with a spacious living area and 3 tvs! Wonderful setting though road in is rough. It is 5 km from Quepos which is a quaint but full service town. Staff is great...most speak English. Swim up bar in pool! Just a great place.

The property was clean, the staff was helpful and although the location is not directly in town, it is less than an hour away from all the places we went during out stay. Manuel Antonio - 15 minutes Quepos - 10 minutes Uvita - 45 minutes Playa Herradura - 55 minutes Jaco - 50 minutes Rainmaker - 10 minutes I...

Transportation from San Jose Airport expensive and difficult to arrange for a first-timer. Very nice and well equipped room. Beautiful, well kept grounds. Rather remote location with limited local food options; needed transportation off grounds even to grocery shop. Excursions arranged by staff were great!

When we checked in to the hotel there were what we thought were spiders all over our room. Luckily for us once we talked to the helpful people at the front desk we were informed they were baby crabs and not spiders, huge relief! While having baby crabs all over your room isn't the best, it certainly beats having spiders...

I have just returned from a week at Pueblo Real. I had an awesome time. It is located about 10 minutes out of Quepos, down a dirt road (seemingly typical of any secondary road in Costa Rica). From the outside it looks like a motel in a lush tropical setting. The staff at reception are great. They speak English well....
