This was the worst attempt at a 3.5 star hotel I've ever seen. There is no way to find it first of all. It is in a terrible neighborhood. There is no sign. The parking lot is clean when you finally find it and it does have security and barb wire around it. The room was awful and

The place is OK.. not amazing or anything. Is just a hotel inside a tennis club basically. I have to say it was clean and they were very helpful with arranging some tours for me. Breakfast is no good, very poor breakfast and the service is really slow. The rooms were a bit old

Charles, There are 5 full-time pros and several other part- timers. Most charge 10,000 colones ( about $20 ) plus 2,000 for the ball boy. It might be tricky to schedule the first day you arrive, but after that it shouldn't be a problem. I could contact one of them through facebook if that would help. WRK

There are two swimming pools. One is a social pool with screaming kids and very cold water. The other is a training pool. That one is ostensibly heated. It requires a bathing cap. I believe that it is 25 meters, but I'll check to be sure. There is also a public pool in La Sabana ( a park ) across the street from the hotel. It is used for national and international competition, but I would have to inquire about its dimensions as well.

Sorry, I missed the second half of your question. The pro's arrive about 6:00 AM. They are usually occupied with junior programs in the afternoon.
