This place is just the perfect place for a stay on the island. The location is aweme because it is places in the north, between the two bays, so you are close to pretty much everyhting that there is on the island (<10min scooter). They offer the possibility of eating dinner there (only for guests, they don't have an official...

We had a great 3 night stay in the Badamier bungalow right by the waters edge. The bungalow was lovely, shaded by a large mango(?) tree and festooned with flowers. We particularly enjoyed sleeping inside the mosquito net listening to the sound of waves lapping on the shore. It is a small guesthouse with 4 bungalows and you do get...

Fare Vaihere is a great place to stay. Clean, excellent food and friendly and helpful hosts. Fabulous and easy snorkelling off the end of the jetty and kayaks and bikes available. Greeted by Phillipe with chilled fresh coconut milk was the perfect start to our short stay at Fare Vaihere. Breakfast overlooking Oponohue bay was superb - fresh tropical fruits, croissant, local jams, homemade yoghurts etc. etc. Corrine prepared a wonderful evening meal which was better than anything we had eaten elsewhere in Tahiti and other islands. Philllipe and Corrine were...

This was the 2nd stop on our honeymoon in July 2014 and it was absolutely amazing. Our hut was about 20' away from the waters edge and the view breathe taking. Phillipe and Corrine were the perfect hosts and couldn't have made us feel more at home. Great home cooking and immaculate service, can't praise them enough for making part...

We had a great stay there so peaceful and beautiful. Phillipe and Corrine are the perfect hosts. They go out of there way to accommodate you and make your stay awesome. We ate breakfast both mornings very good. Phillipe arranges transportation and activities. Would highly recommend this place. We snorkeled all days right outside the bungalow, lots of fishes.

Only four bungalows, lovely landscaping and a pier heading to nowhere marks this unique, out-of-the way spot. We thoroughly researched this trip and, after much conversation, chose Fare Vaihere. We were not disappointed. The owners are both casual and gracious, reflecting the property itself. Our bungalow was all of a few yards to the beach. Off the pier is easy...

In oponohu Bay, at a short distance from the spot where the 1980's movie "Bounty" was filmed, it consists of a few independent bungalows in a nice garden. No actual beach but a pontoon from where you can start snorkelling or kayaking (free of charge). Bikes are free, as well. A lot of useful info is dispensed by the owners....

My husband and I decided to end our 6 week Polynesian adventure with a stay on Moorea before we blasted off for the US. We have stayed on Moorea several times. Fare Vaihere was by far the superior spot. Starting with the entry from the road, a tunnel thru the palms, then 4 beautifully appointed cottages, all with a nice...
