We only had two nights at the Resort. The little boat that takes you to the motu (island that the resort is on), is cool. The resort is in a fantastic location right on the large lagoon. Our room was on the estuary side, but ask for a room on the lagoon side. The water is so unbelievably blue. We...

A welcome ei and chilled coconut water was a welcome start to our trip. Followed by a warm welcome at reception and a greeting from the resort managers made us feel like we were important. We stayed for three magical nights in the Beachfront Bungalow. The bungalow is huge! So spacious and plenty of room to store suitcases and move...

This is a late review - couldn't get date to go back far enough and think visit was late 2014 or early 2015. Expensive to get there but environment superb. Must do lagoon cruise. Beach front villas superb and comfortable. Only downside is restaurant - not a lot of variety and some if the meat came from some very skinny...

Booking, pick up from the airport and check in all worked fine. However, we were given very little information on the resort as we were escorted to our room which is unusual. We had a so called over water bungalow, but actually it is only the balcony that is fully over the water, and the outlook was dominated by a...

We stayed at one of the neighbouring properties (Etu Moana), for our honeymoon in the last week of January, and we had a blast there, or rather the most peaceful tranquil experience one could imagine. As part of island exploring we visited a number of other restaurants and resorts for meals and coctails during our stay, one of which was...

Aitutaki Lagoon Resort & Spa is the perfect destination for couples looking for a quiet and relaxing vacation. The staff is very hospitable. The place itself is absolutely beautiful and lush green. The Royal Honeymoon Villa, where we stayed, was definitely the highlight of our stay there.

My sister and I stayed in the overwater bungalow at Aitutaki Lagoon Resort & Spa for 3 nights in January. We were meant to travel with our mother but she was unable to travel last minute due to health reasons. Unfortunately, this meant my sister and I had to travel alone (both of us being under 21). The hotel was...

The management team is extremely nice, greeting us every day. Some of the other staff is either shy or not as friendly, we were never sure. The property is a little far from town and the two ATMs so remember that if you need cash. Maybe someday they can put an ATM on the property as you need cash to...

First and foremost this is a very beautiful property. It is very clean and well maintained. One thing to consider, which is by no means the resorts fault, is it's proximity to the main island and the town. If you needed money, as we did, it's quite a trip to the ATM without a car or scooter. We used the...
