Nice clean campground. All blacktop roads and campsites. Get there before 2 p.m. to get a campsite. Very convenient for going in to Eagle River to resupply groceries, gas, and wash clothes. Stayed there with a 34' Class A motorhome with tow car.

We stopped on our trip to Alaska. It was strange for some reason. No camp host that we could find. Lots of teens running around. No flush toilets as advertised. Trash spot out of the way and hard to find. I probably would not stay here again. Sites not very private. Near highway and lots of noise.

That is what we want, not so far from Anchorage so we can go into the city for the morning flight. Plenty of time for rv return and 11am flight. The site is clean and well maintained. But do see that perch tree been peeled for camp fire. No good. There is a Walmart center close by to grab a...

Right out of the city of Anchorage heading north to Denali. Nice park with large roads to steer a large RV in. Has a nice dump station area and dumpsters in the same area. Every site was taken when we arrived so they have overflow parking lot in the back that was very nice.

This is a good campground if you want to be close to town but it is very urban. All of the spaces are paved and you can hear the sounds of the highway near by. There are however so beautiful hikes around the camp.

The campsites are nice but the camp hosts are down right mean and greedy, we stayed 2 nights and paid for both nights. The day we are to pack up and leave the host came by and said we needed to be out by noon. We were not ready so she told us there is a 5$ day use fee....

For a campground so close to the city this place isn't too bad but we definitely prefer to stay elsewhere if we can. But if you're visiting and just looking for a convenient place to stay near town Eagle River campground isn't a bad choice compared to the city campgrounds... if you can get a spot that is as they...

The pluses: Location is great. Close enough to Anchorage but still next to a wild river with salmon fishing and rafting access. Sites are nice. There are even some that are park car and walk-in near the river and look gorgeous. Paved road access throughout campground great for kids with scooters or bikes. The minuses: Location is also near landfill,...
