We enjoyed visiting Alyeska Resort, lots of sunshine and snow too! We enjoyed the hot tub and swimming pool after a long day of skiing. The restaurants were all great! Concierge and front desk very helpful.

Carrie, I am assuming that you are talking about the Northern Lights and if so, it is possible but rare. I agree with a couple of the folks that responded about driving up the road a bit to get a better view. I think the absolute best place is north of Anchorage. Good luck and I hope that you get to see them because they are truly amazing!!
