This turned out to be a good find which I chose after reading reviews on Tripadvisor. The staff (Leeann) was extremely helpful and informative. She gave us the history of the hotel and why it is named as it is even though it really is a motel and not hotel. Interesting history. They have snacks for sale in the office...

We stayed at the Denali Park Hotel in August 2014. There was no room at any of the Hotels in Denali proper as we decided to book late. However no regrets at all. The drive to Healy was through a gulch that looked like it had been transported straight out of the movie "Seven brides for Seven sisters" beautiful, it...

My hubby actually said out of all the places we stayed on our Alaska trip this was his favorite. It doesn't have air conditioning but we just opened...

Pros - inexpensive and clean. Cons - loud, heard a lot of traffic from the highway; absolutely the flattest pillows I've ever seen - please replace. Rooms look like they haven't been updated since the 70s but the tv might be from the 80s. With construction, about 30 minutes north of Denali.
