Situated at the entrance of Healy, on the road from Anchorage, it's a good place to spend a couple of nights and visit Denali park. Room was clean, but pretty worn out, specially the bathroom, so it doesn't look like it. Free wifi, satellite TV and in-room coffee making facilities. Nice staff.

We looked for a low-cost option close to Denali National Park and this worked out perfectly. Put us near some interesting places to eat, saved a bunch of money, and enjoyed the stay. It was rustic, needed a lot of TLC, but served our purposes well. If looking for high-end, for 24 hour bell hops, micro and fridge in your... More

We stayed at this property in 2009 and again recently for one night. It continues to be a great value for the Denali area. While a little "dated" - the beds/pillows are comfortable; it is clean with a private bath; t.v. (No frig or microwave in the room, but there is one that is the office area that you can... More

Driving up their sign said no vacancy and once I was there I saw no cars. At the front desk I picked up the phone to say I was here and a few minutes later, the person arrived to check me it. It felt a bit awkward and I had some reservations as to whether I chose a safe place... More

We stayed for two nights. Rooms are clean but dated and very serious cracking in walls. My major concern is the fact that there is no one at the their front desk. You walk into the front desk and there is a phone instead with a number to call if you needed something. There is no phone in the room... More

Over the last twenty years we've stayed here several times and we just stayed again. It's close to Denali Park, much cheaper too. The rooms are basic but nice with flat screen tv and wi-fi although the wi-fi seemed a bit spotty at times. Excellent view as well and very friendly staff.

Clean, quiet, comfortable, and inexpensive enough. A good bed , and close proximity to the park. An excellent house keeping staff. Common microwave and refrigarator at office. You can go up to the Grande Denali or Princess Lodge and do better, but you better be ready to come up off of a bunch more money. For me I just need... More

We booked a room at this lodge the very last minute as this was the only place that had availability, which also made us presume that it will be a disappointing stay. I was proven wrong. I'm not saying that this place is a five star stay in the middle of wilderness, but it has the basic necessities that we... More

White Moose Lodge is what it advertised. The rooms were clean. The beds were marginally comfortable. The location is about 11 miles north of the Denali entrance. There is a full size refrigerator in the office area where anyone can store items. The attendant is not always present in the office, but there is a phone where you can call... More

We spent one night here after visiting Denali Park. The room was clean, beds were comfortable, but it was way overpriced for what you get. The motel does not look as nice as the picture shown.
