was looking forward to our stay here. We had been warned it was small but other than this it sounded as if it suited our needs. It was very small, about the size of a garden shed and was not helped by the unusual choice of furniture - a day bed! and the large number of cushions which needed a...

I appreciate the positive scores our lodge received under the all the catagories except "value"...but a good value score is very important to us. If our guests feel they are not getting a good value, their stay with us is less than desirable. That seems to be the case with this guest from Wales, and we are lucky that almost...

My mom-in-law and I stayed at Earthsong for three nights while we explored Denali, and we could not have been happier. The cabins are beautiful, cozy, and hand-built. The owner/hosts Jon and Karin are warm, welcoming, and very knowledgable about the park (they helped us plan our hikes). The coffeehouse serves delicious food (we ate there every night), and they...

Earthsong Lodge is a 20 minute drive from Denali Park entrance and worth every minute of the drive. (especially to get away from the big hotels clustered just north of the park entrance). It is set on tundra that is beautiful, peaceful and absolutely quiet at night. Cabins are charming, clearly handmade with love by someone with skill and artistry...

The ten of us stayed here for two nights while we visited Denali and the surrounding area. If you are looking for a place away from the "tourist trap" that is quiet but still close, this is the place. Nicely decorated and clean little cabins with very comfy beds. Henry's Coffeehouse is a great place to sit on the porch...

The entire place has been built by the owner (Jon) out of, I think, local materials and his love for the place shows in the workmanship. Each cozy cabin has its own theme and the walkways are lined with flowers. (I don't think the user photos of the place do it justice--they don't capture the magical personality of the place...

While we thoroughly enjoyed it here we need to note to visitors that it's not close to Denali park. It's about 30 min drive but beats staying in glitter gulch down the road for those who prefer a personal touch. Henrys cafe next door which is run by Jon and Karin is great for breakfast and dinner. I only give...

I appreciate the nice things this enjoyable couple from Brooklyn wrote about our lodge. They were the type of people who seem to fit our lodge. They are correct, we are not at the park entrance, but 17 miles away. Drive is usually a bit shorter than a half hour, somewhere between 20-25 minutes to the entrance. They were taking...

We loved everything about Earthsong Lodge from the dog kennel tour to the cute cabins each with their own Alaska theme. Our cabin was comfortable, clean, and homey, and there were so many nice touches (decor and flowers) throughout the entire place. Karin and John were excellent hosts and bent over backwards to make sure we had what we needed....

We just returned from a stunning two weeks in Alaska and what a splendid trip it was. We planned on traveling to Denali National Park and faced a critical decision as to where to stay. Everyone's experience will be different, bu based on the recommendations of friends, we decided to stay away from Denali itself, and the park entrance. Oh,...

Earthsong is a really great place. Jon was really helpful. The place is really clean and well taken care of. I really like the cafe area, it has an upstairs with comfortable couches, games to relax at. The view could nor be beat. Its north of the park and if you drive further down t road you can see Denali. I...

We only have thanks for Jon and Karin in making our Alaska honeymoon a memorable one! The lodge is very cozy with fine details (I love the touch of fresh carnations, books, lovely quilts, alaskan burls etc) ! Being away from the cities, we were lucky to catch the aurora lights just outside our cabin! My hubby chose EarthSong because he would...
