Our family of 3 (Dad & 2 boys) stayed at this property for 7 nights. Fishing was my sole reason for choosing this location. The Sea Lion is centrally located to everything. The fishing charter companies are within easy walking distance as well as the famous Captain Patties sea food restaurant which is right next door. With that as a...

I was honestly not sure about Homer but this cute little town took me by surprise. I had an action packed three days in Homer and i chose Sea Lion Cove to stay - the pictures on their website don't do justice to the place. First off, the location is just perfect - It's in the heart of the spit...

This place needs some TLC. Television only gets 3 channels, one of which actually work. Pillows are gross, flattened out, and GoodWillish. Grungy Curtains do not fit the windows. All the blinds are falling apart. Bedroom/living room separated by a xirty curtain. Shower and sink have holes in them. Carpet is dirty. Mostly a nasty place with great views Not...

Greetings Airpower, I am very sorry to hear that your stay at our lodging was not up to your expectations. I apologize. I want to address some of your concerns that I feel might be inaccurately reported. Our TV has five network channels with four sub-channels on the state-run system. I discovered that the coax cable was faulty during your...

Stayed here for 4 nights 8-16 to 8-20 It's a great location on Homer Spit to stay. Stayed in the south unit but not much different than north one. The views are great. This place is very clean. Was quiet except hearing the waves which was very nice.our favorite restaurant was next door. You can walk everywhere on the spot...

We are about to check out but I wanted to write a review of this little gem of a place to stay in Homer. First off let me say the location is great right In the middle of the spit. It is within walking distance to shops, restaurants and the small boat harbor. You can pick up some groceries and...

We thoroughly enjoyed our 4 nights here. It wasn't quite as big as we thought from the pictures but it served our purpose. We were able to eat our breakfast in the room or on the deck when weather permitted, watching the boats head out. The locations was fantastic, overlooking the water, walking distance to the shops and activities on...

Booking was a breeze, Gary was very helpful both in the booking stage and once we had got there. Staying on the Spit is a must and everything is within easy walking distance. There are sufficient places to eat for a shortish stay. The unit itself is very clean and comfortable and quite adequate. It is not a there to...

Kim, Thank you for your positive review of our lodging. The construction across the street was a temporary annoyance but was a log-awaited (several years) improvement to our harbor. It occurred in September and is now finished. It was a pleasure to host your stay. Best Wishes, Gary

I can't say enough good things about our stay here. The location is great, right on the spit and next door to great restaurants and near where all the excursions depart. The room was comfortable and clean. The views were breathtaking. I'd recommend Sea Lion Cove to anyone and will stay here again if we are lucky enough to return...

My wife and I stayed here for three nights in late July. Booking was easy via email/phone and the owners were very timely in email communications. The view is fantastic, I can't imagine there's any better on the Homer Spit. The unit is not laid out the best for watching TV/hanging out, but that's not the point of being in...

“SOUTH Studio corner unit offers more window views. Book in advance there's only two studios available. Limited TV channels, bring a book”

“There are only two. I think we were in the North Room. I would expect the South to be similar, perhaps a slightly better view which you can see much better from the deck anyway. One advantage of the South is that you don't have the other guest walking past.”

“Figure out where you can park ahead of time as theowner doesn't want you parking in front of the gallery even if you are a guest upstairs and get the SECOND room at the top of the stairs not the first one or someone will always be walking past you to get to their room.”
