The decor was very plain and basic, with painted cinder block walls. The room was clean, and the beds were comfortable. It was a reasonable price for what we got. The shuttle also took us to the ferry terminal when we left at a very...More

Thank you for your feedback. We're glad you enjoyed your stay. See you next time.
I stayed at the Driftwood Hotel in Juneau in July 2017 and it was one of the best hotels I've stayed in. I was there for a total of 5 nights with a break in the middle to visit Glacier Bay overnight.

Hotel is a great location in downtown Juneau, with reasonable rates. The staff is very accommodating, from having the rooms ready on time, storing our luggage while we went to Gustavus for two nights and came back for our flight out of Juneau. The shuttle...More

Thank you for your feedback. I'm glad you enjoyed your stay. We hope to have you again.
Love that it was a 5-10 minute walk to downtown, so location was perfect. The Driftwood is more like a motel. Couches should have been replaced 15-20 years ago but you know what? It was super clean, kitchenette was FANTASTIC with stove/oven.
Beds were clean,...More

Our Two Bedroom Suite would be the best option. The first bedroom is open to the kitchen/living room areas. Some rooms have a short hallway, while others have the kitchen in the hall. The bathroom is in this first bedroom. The second bedroom has a door that separates it from the first bedroom.
About one third of these rooms have a queen and two twins, with the two twins being in the second bedroom. Some rooms have hide a bed in the living room, but we can also provide a roll away bed or make up the couch for the fifth person.
We can provide a room with plenty of sleeping space for the whole family, but I like to advise our guests to consider whether they will be comfortable with this layout before they book. It usually works well for families, but is a bit less ideal for couples traveling together. Some people find the location of the bathroom and the fact that the first bedroom is open to the living area uncomfortable due to lack of privacy.
I hope this description helps when it comes to making your decision. Feel free to let us know if you have any more questions.
