I stayed here with a group from AmeriCan Adventures. Hosts were very kind and accommodating. Food was wonderful and such a treat to sit in a dining room after camping for days and days. Love the funky tents and the kayaking was superb.

We booked a kayak trip with ABTB through a tour group we were with. My husband and I were new to kayaking -- we had no idea what to expect. However, under the tutelage of Kyle and Mary Jane, we were off and rowing in no time at all. It was a glorious experience -- one of the highlights of... More

Reachable by water taxi from Homer Spit, this is a "B&B" with tents and cabins. The owners' house is a place for meals, wifi, playing cards, and reviewing photos. The permanent tents are a nice change from tent camping, with beds off the ground. No electricity in the tents, though it's not needed in the Alaskan summer. Two shared showers... More

It was wonderful, loved the tent, I had a choice of a tent/cabin, it was just me, Tony, Maryjane and Kyle were very accommodating. Everything from my hot water bottle to warm up, coming from hot/humid GA to a great climate. They made you feel very welcome, when I asked for directions, Maryjane was very helpful, and helped me to... More

Most peaceful place to stay for a few days and go on a kayak adventure in Katchemak Bay. I have come to this place a few times and was almost most welcome by Maryjane and Tony. They serve fantastic salmon dinners. Hanging out in their small beach house and enjoying all the little details which makes that place so very... More

Mary Jane, Tony and Kyle gave us a lovely day - sea kayaking with packed lunch, trip to Seldovia in the afternoon, and dinner with them in the evening. Can't speak too highly of young Kyle the kayak king, nothing was too much trouble for him. Our only word of warning - the outside toilet facilities are not what you'd... More

Such a beautiful location! I had the tent almost right on the beach and it has to be one of the best views around to wake up to. The food was excellent and everyone there so friendly. Kayaking was a lot of fun on water that was like glass. Would definitely go there again. I did need the wool blanket... More

Had a wonderful time kayaking at this peaceful and quaint retreat. Mary Jane, Tony and Kyle went out of their way to ensure everything was perfect from scrumptious packed lunches to suggestions of where to paddle. We had perfect weather - kayaking in our t-shirts - and spent almost all of our time our on the water or relaxing in... More

What a fantastic experience, to be accomodated in a remote place like this, right at the beach with view of the sea and many otters. You get there by water taxi from the Homer Spit. The owners cook beautiful meals for all their guests and are more than welcoming and friendly. If you don't mind outhouses, than this is the... More
